  • While I’m in London for a week, I decided to take a ride on the recently opened Elizabeth Line riding a Class 345 manufactured by Alstom (formerly Bombardier) from Stratford to Harold Wood! Originally I wanted to record the whole ride to Shenfield but unfortunately my phone had died when we reached Harold Wood. The interior was nice but the iron board seats are not welcoming but other than that, I like the Class 345s. Along the way you can see Class 720s and 745s operated by Greater Anglia and Class 710s operated by London Overground. I also passed the Alstom plant where all the Aventras (Class 345, 710, and 720) were stored!
