My very good & lifelong friend, Mr. Bob Killian, a wonderful man & a terrific piano player (“pianist”, for those who are purists & overly-technical), have been playing music together just like this since 1985 .... when I was but a mere lad of only 15 years of age.
Numerous harsh & very brutal surgical, radiation & chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatments (first in 2013 and then again in 2016) for recurring metastatic neck & throat cancer have robbed me of the ability nowadays to play trumpet very well or at a high level of proficiency anymore, but I can (thankfully) still play just a little, for which I am grateful .... although it’s painful.
