Truth. Im diamond went on a 5 game mvp streak because i turned on my brain and predicted every play the enemy made. Its always shocking how none of the gameplay changes between gold - diamond everyone focuses way too much on aim, and thus everyone in those lobbies just keep running into fights mindlessly and thats how you also end up throwing! Its not easy always keeping track of everything that goes on in the game but i like to say everything that happens outloud and try to think of the next thing that might happen. I’ve become a pretty good igl, but some days I dont have the capacity to have that much focus and i return to mindlessly just auto piloting like everyone else. The amount of times in buying phase where i ask my team whats the plan? And no one inputs anything is actually crazy. Dont be afraid to make wrong calls just trust your gut and things will come with experience and its better than not having a plan. My verdict is, having a plan and clear idea of everything going on in the game will always be beneficial to you because you will play more reactively and prepared.

Before even watching the video my thoughts is rather than insane aim and flicks it's more important to understand the angles you're playing and crosshair placement..holding tight angles or off angles and adapting.
totally agree, I used to have a shitty aim, but since I started to burst and wait for the reset of the recoil my aim is way better now, even sometimes I fail this because i shoot before the recoil reset and lost the duel even when my second burst was on the head
i was placed in s1 went down to b3, then climbed to p1 in the same act. All i did was rather than always taking fights and dying, i focused on team gameplay. I didnt hesitate to leave an enemy not worth killing at that moment. U can always outplay a good aimer with team tactics. And play with a fresh mind. If u are busy with studies like me, play maybe 1 or 2 compe a day and not more.
I went from silver to plat 1 just because I watched 1 stream of Cryo and i immediately noticed how he peeks angles all the time he uses the "slice the pie" method 75% of the time and i forced myself to learn it since then and i haven't perfected it yet but i ended up having much better strafing technique and burst/strafe speed and better crosshair placement.

Always, i one tap where their head is supposed to be then move crosshair to other spot and while doing so i realise that he was crouching and the i have to place the crosshair back to his crouched head, and mostly I am dead by time i left click

can say the tips given in this video works, first match I made a conscious effort to shoulder peek, anticipate and burst my shots and I had a KDR that I normally wouldn't get. Next game I abandoned all the tips for whatever reason and I sucked ass.

'Everyone wants good aim'. The first sentence knocked me off so hard. I think I've been focusing too much on strats instead of my aim ever since I became an IGL.

I have to say, as a player who impoved from Iron 3 to Diamond 3, there are only 2 real tips that helped me a LOT!
1. In a 1v1 gunfight, peak always fast and only a little on the edge, and then do a big swing and you can kill your enemy (because mostly they have their crosshair right on the corner and are not fast enough to kill you.)
2. Activate your brain and check EVERY single corner before you go.
And of cause try to kill the enemies by once and Not all together (1v1)

I just can’t grasp the spray transfers at medium range and then the recoil control is fine though 🤷♂️ feel like my crosshair is off compared to csgo like a one tap on a guy not moving on val for me is 7/10 times a two tap Cus some how I apparently was 1mm off his head 😂 gotta love it though
the way the game is programmed you should only hold angles enemies don't prefire. If both of you know where the other player is, the one peeking will always win

@@02ring00 if you are chamber and stand in some off-angle, they have peeker's advantage, but at least they have to hit a flick which takes up time and isn't guaranteed to hit

I keep telling this to people but Practice mode in valorant is literally priceless, just practice hitting bots on hard mode until you get the hang of it, then jump into ranked after 10 minutes of shooting them. I started doing this and jumped from gold 3 to diamond 1 in a month (obviously work on your gamesense too). If you can hit 15-20 bots then you can easily get plat

5:45 a very bad exercise you will notice that the guy lowers the crosshair each time and when the bot shows up, it aims for the head. it is better to keep the sight still at the level of the head
Most of the time you’re not aiming at the same distance, so I recommend varying the height levels like in sena’s warmup
exactly this makes your aim terrible, i was studying pros and noticed they only move their crosshair horizontally like robots, my aim instantly improved in like 3 days
Yeah, him moving it messed it up directly, since that isn’t what the exercise was for, but you should always be prepared to change your crosshair vertically as well as horizontally
No, hes expecting the bot will spawn at the longer distance, thats why hes lower the crosshair, because head level also depends on how far the the enemy is. You need to aim higher when enemy close, and aim lower when enemy far.

And now after seeing this , i change my playstyle from just going forward and getting kill to being more patient, waiting for the enemy to cross my crosshair and analyzing the enemy's habits
Just after watching this from middle frag , i put 3 games which is 2 mvp and one lost top frag ,what surprised me even more was that I played against gold 3 and before that I was struggling with gold

I honestly hope it does, my main problem is that I can't aim properly even if I have the upper hand. I have my crosshair ready where the enemy will cross but 90% I miss and they kill me, I've had instances where the enemy wouldn't see me so I would shoot them and they would kill me first because of the noise I caused. I don't know if its my aim anymore I'm just tired and I don't even enjoy the game because I suck at aiming...
@@mohamadhamada9954 I'm really new to Valorant and I find that doing a quick aim warmup in the training range can help. Just normal easy bots, practice and then the actual thing, then I hit the floating targets and do some recoil control and it helps me a lot. Make sure you have a sense and cross hair you're comfortable with too. Hope this helps!

@@DEVTHEGREAT636 yeah but csgo is based on kill shots not overall shots landed, valorant include all shots so if you 3 body shot then headshot for a kill you'll have 25% hs while in csgo you'll have 100%

@@PoGuy12 bro ngl don't focus on hs first just play your game no need to always land a headshot, going for headshots only at this stage is kinda unnecessary (till gold) because you might miss some shots and hence not be able to kill fast enough

I think my brain works in two modes: dm mode and mm mode. When I play dm I literally tap only heads and strafe, but when I play mm I crouch spray too much and miss a lot. I think if I could fix it somehow, I can skyrocket to radiant

Im hardstuck iron 1 and have just learned how to actually do crosshair placement in valorant so I've been having much easier duels. BUT for some reason when i predict the enemy movements another enemy peeks and my aim just doesn't work even after many warmups and aim training. I get really tilted easily and don't perform. But once I hit a nasty headshot I suddenly get really good... why the heck does this happen??

thats actually a good idea. chambers headhunter is a little different from sheriff or guardian.
