I'm sure Raphael Stone sold the youngsters on the team's COLLECTIVE dream. Green must have been both excited to have a new deal and humbled by the fact that he could've gotten more had he met everyone's expectations. Sengun's contract is a bargain relative to his real value no doubt, but he must've been willing to take the lesser amount to set an example for the rest of the young guys--Jabari, Tari--who are up for extensions next year. This group, if they truly enjoy playing together, must sacrifice a little to stay together. I'm glad we are going to see them for a long time.
Big day boys! Smiles all around. The extension talks were so tiring. Stone did a great job getting those handled. We'll need Sengun and Green to focus 100% on basketball if we want to see the playoffs
I completely agree the JG contract is an excellent deal if and only if he has a not ideal szn then I think you call PHX and offer JG, Jabari, and picks for Booker
Great pod guys. Great day for the Rockets. Stone has proven his ability to guide this team into the future IMO. that extenision Stone got last year is looking pretty good right now. i thought when Stone said he thought he could hold this team together last year he was just blowing smoke, but this is the type of move that makes that possible. there have been a lot of rumors from pundits about what the Rockets should do with this young core, but Stone has not only stayed the course, but began to lock this young core for the future. i have to give him much credit for the way he has directed the team on his watch
Raphael Stone should be a lock for Executive Of The Year at this point if Houston goes on to finish as good or better than they did last year! Stone>Morey!
If I were Alpy i would ask for the same Jalen 's contract +10% = 2+1 PO @ 117 mio + incentives if he is selected to All Star..... Little bit unfair for Alpy... But I guess he likes Rockets which should be apriciated...what you think about not putting incentives in Alpy's contract?

Yeah, if they didn't get these done now then we would hear about it EVERY freaking game for at least 82 games, lol!
