@Daley I'll be honest I'm convinced they went to real casino and had him flip off the cameras then asked for the footage because it seems so real and grainy than the usual HD security cameras they use in movies
Lol true. But at that point, what choice do they have? Also, in the scene where Chow and his crew t-bone their car, they mention how the night before, Alan was on a hot streak playing craps, eventually earning $80 grand. If Alan can secure the bag, possibly strategizing playing craps, he could most likely do so at the black jack tables.
Alan and mr chow are probably the 2 funniest movies characters of all time, and then Phil and drew compliment them so well and keep the movie grounded.
Crazy how this movie came out around the same time RUclips was getting its first established youtubers. Damn even smartphones weren’t really around. This movie never ages
I won six straight hands, and I had the Pit Boss behind me in no time. I turned and said, "I know what your'e thinking, don't worry, my brain doesn't work that way." After I won the next hand, I figured it was time to cash out and find out what my girlfriend wanted to do.
I actually tried counting when I was on board a cruise ship in the casino. Went there the night before and tried, failed, gave up and played normally and lost like 100 USD. The next night I waited until the table was "hot" and then sat in. Won 300USD from them and they didn't suspect a thing even after I won 5 straight hands because I sucked so badly the night before
In comparision to the usual american comedies (and most comedies nowadays to that matter) this movie is a jewel in the crown in my opinion... the direction, the suspense, the comedy.. The Hangover it isn't just a decent movie, but a very great display of Todd Philpps' directing skills... I hope Joker earns a lot of rewards, and in turn lets Phillips direct more serious movies, and comedies (if he wants to take on Hollywods woke culture) for that matter... definetly one of my favorite comedies
I was secretly hoping Alan would put down all his cash on one bet, yell "baccarat!", and lose it all at once. Alan looks at Phil and goes "wait this isn't baccarat...?" Phil goes ballistic and notices the dealer trying not to laugh, and Phil throws a Nicholas Cage-like tantrum at the table (the table is almost flipped, chips fly, security is called). Alan and Phil are thrown out of the casino, Stu has no idea what to do, and Doug eventually dies of dehydration/exposure on the roof. Phil and Stu go to jail for manslaughter and Alan is admiitted to a psych ward for the mentally insane. The end.
It might have been a high minimum bet like $100. I know when I go to Vegas I still search for the $2 minimum bet which means I blow the whole time there looking for it.
genius, prob the funniest film ive seen for years.and the song fcastanda is iko iko think this version is the bellstars, lots of versios as its a very old song
It works well with automatic shufflers that use a discard pile as long as penetration is deep enough(of the card decks). It will not work with continuous shuffle machines under any circumstance as every hand is dealt with a full deck
Bradley Cooper flipping off the cameras I love it! :D
+Spence Wedum Also, PHIL: That's it! SHUT UP BITCHES!
Awesome
@Daley I'll be honest I'm convinced they went to real casino and had him flip off the cameras then asked for the footage because it seems so real and grainy than the usual HD security cameras they use in movies
I'm the same way when my folks are winning on the penny slots
He can’t lose. He can’t lose!
Man trigonometry in blackjack there's a first

Nerd
Shut up..

Saw this before I saw Rain Man. Laughed my ass off when Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman were coming down the escalator.
Hahahahahahahaha I can feel you
Nooo...you supposed to laugh on THIS scene, not the other way arround
That's awesome
@@bastardxin3749 ahahaha Ikr???!
Me to 🤣🤣
The only loophole in this scene was how stu and phil believed that alan could really pull this off.
Well he IS a ruh-tard..so..they had nothing to lose but 10k
They had no other choice
Because the previous night he actually won 80k with them and chow when they were fucked up, if u pay attention u’s know this
He was studying up on the car ride to Vegas.
All the tricks casinos do to us and they get all pissy when someone is smart enough to win at black Jack. Makes me sick
Those casinos weren't built because people win.
Don Ward from ‘Casino’
“Hell it’s a casino, people gotta win some time.
Ace: “Now you’re pissing me off Ward!”
That’s the stupid Indians that’s why we have to annihilate them !!
Exactly the reason I don’t play too much and walk away with $100-200. Eat all the fycking ice cream and leave.
I love how numbers and equations pop up above and around his head.
theres a reason they call it "the greatest comedy of all time"
agreed
I know it my favorite Vegas movie. Along with Vegas Vacation, Casino, Honeymoon in Vegas, and RainMan.
@@jogman262 What about Leaving Las
Vegas? i havent seen it heard its deep with Nicolas Cage
@Smoke Life Yeah, it’s kind of sad and depressing. I went the comedy Nicholas Cage.
Alan and mr chow are probably the 2 funniest movies characters of all time, and then Phil and drew compliment them so well and keep the movie grounded.
I like the Alan and Phil characters, but I think Stu is the funniest of the three.
Crazy how this movie came out around the same time RUclips was getting its first established youtubers. Damn even smartphones weren’t really around. This movie never ages
Even the characters in this movie are using flip phones.
Actually smartphones and iPhones were pretty much starting
The best part is when Bradley Cooper is flipping off the security camera. Haha
"Attention, I do not own this shit" Brilliant
Ikr
Yeahh
💯
Pure genius man
Love Heather G. She doesn't overact or try to steal the show. she knows it's about the guys. And she's forever hot.
Nerd
Rachel Nichols would've been great in this role too
“We’re the three best friends that anybody ever had. We’re the three best friends that anybody ever had. And we’ll never ever ever leave each other.”
allen did you just eat sofa pizza?
yes...
😂😂😂😂
yea ik that's a thing LMAO
This movie defined my high school years
I remember downloading the movie off Limewire and it on my iPod Nano and watching this movie in school
2:50 every time when I see a cam in mall or bank.
Or at work. They’re hidden but I randomly flip of the ceiling.
I won six straight hands, and I had the Pit Boss behind me in no time. I turned and said, "I know what your'e thinking, don't worry, my brain doesn't work that way." After I won the next hand, I figured it was time to cash out and find out what my girlfriend wanted to do.

Fcuking business mate! They only want you to lose
Worst thing they can do is tell you that you can’t keep changing your bets. There is no “back room”.
People win over six straight hands all the time. I smell bullshit
This is the scene that triggered my love for The Hangover :p
+SKYLINE GT-R The numbers at 1:14, I lost it! XD
Same, the number thing was pretty epic in my opinion
And when the camera zoomed in on Alan
time lapse shot at @2:20 just epic. and that soundtrack.
This is the scene that triggered my love for The Hangover :p
If I got up married to Heather Graham I would just go with it

just my opinion of course :)
Watch It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
"Oh, fuck you! Fuck you!" I feel sorry for blackjack dealers in Vegas.
amazing music for this whole scene!
haha i love how they're showing square roots and shit going in on his head but all you need to count cards is addition subtraction and division
😄
And yet you're still not rich 😆
this movie and also the other 2 hangovers are by far the most hilarious movies ive ever seen
+Bread Pitt pd.
Part 3 sucked
@@ericwilliams398 part 3 was better than 2 allen was hilarious in that one
3 is dark. Lot of murder in that one.
i find this scene so cool
Rain Man
Loved the Rainman reference at 0:44
Might be one the greatest scenes in film history
Intro out of this world lol
The reference to Rainman coming down the escalator was hilarious
The reference to Casino shortly afterwards was pretty funny too.
Unfortunately I didn't know that at first because I saw this before Casino.
Yeah you're already married, so we're good there! 😂👌🏼
I really wish they had brought her back in the 2nd one.
And her role in the third one is small.
Zach's face on the escalator is simply hilarious.
and so is "Shut up bitches!"
Wolfmother - Joker and the thief is a fuckin tuuuuune

How It Should Have Ended
"Attention i dont own this shit " XD XD
Alan always been my favorite character him and Mr.Chow
...
so funny when they're coming down the escalator LOL
Why do casino owners get salty when someone wins huge cash in their place
Because they pay it
“Because in the end, we get it all.”
Ace Rothstein
Fun fact it is not against the law to count cards however it is against casino rules and they can trust pass you for it.
Fun fact too. Ed Helms (Stu) is really missing that tooth. It never developed for him and he wears a false one.
how alan comes on the escalator n the way hes standing damn funny :D
The real miracle here is how they found that many open seats at a blackjack table at once. Anyone that has been to a casino can tell you that.
It might have been a high minimum bet like $100. I know when I go to Vegas I still search for the $2 minimum bet which means I blow the whole time there looking for it.
And this is why I shoulda paid more attention in algebra and trigonometry class 🤔
Best disclaimer ever dude!
This scene and the song is like the best scene I have ever seen in my life. It's epic/funny/awesome etc! lol
Me when trying to score big while playing blackjack on New Vegas LOL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
LOOOL Bradley Cooper, being obnoxious!
I’m a straight woman and I’m 45 and been married 20 years, but Heather Graham is just utterly gorgeous!
Gee.. thank you for the notice.
Brilliant scene
You are correct about this scene sir
its so obvious he was counting cards, they're trained to look for that
counting cards is completely memory, memory is so important but it would be so hard!
Phill is like bro, is. This. Guy. Actually able to do this. Or are we done here
Definitely my favourite scene! :)
Thanks.
Heather Graham looks GOOD here. Actually, i have never seen her not look good.
lol alan looks hilarious at 0:43 when hes comes down the escalator... XD!!!!!!!
Would've been more funnier if he just lost right away😂
I still don’t know why doing math in your head would be considered illegal.
"I am so silly!" Yeah, and hot as hell too.
4 people ate sofa pizza and got sick

There should have been only one Hangover film and it would have THE hangover movie.
Great parody of Drugstore Cowboy.
Prof Rosa would be proud
This scene alone is better than the entire movie 21
WE SHOULD ALL HAVE A GETAWAY LIKE THAT TO APPRECIATE WHAT WE HAVE RIGHT MEN?-UH-EXCEPT MIKE'S RIGHT CROSS!
I would have liked Ed Sheeean to either put a song into this or feature

Whas the song when they play?
What's the song called beginning at 1:30?
Classic scene
I'm so confused about blackjack so you cant count the cards. You can't think about it
Lol
0:40 wats the song
so he was counting cards ? so he was cheating?
strategy
Not cheating and it doesn't work anyway.
John Smith it doesn't work on shoe machines. hand dealt tables it for sure works.
John Smith It works and it works good
It works well with automatic shufflers that use a discard pile as long as penetration is deep enough(of the card decks). It will not work with continuous shuffle machines under any circumstance as every hand is dealt with a full deck
