I've got a soft spot for these S40's, my grandparents have a 2.4i 2004, makes a great sound and actually goes pretty well when you want it to. Fantastic cars.
Appreciate the video 🎉, i still have mine(s40 t5 2005 ) similar design but the rims and front spoiler and mirrors were painted gloss black as a part of the process in 2019, it was my first car at 18 and i plan on restoring it better than it was before . I miss the smooth highway miles . Coming across this video makes me reminisce the drives before the covid and inflation events. Thanks again 🤝💯🍻.
I may occasionally film POV test drives of older cars, but I won't review them. If I were to do it right, I would have to do a research on the reliability of given model, maintenance cost etc. I don't have time to do that. This S40 belongs to my family and we're selling it, so I decided to film a POV test drive for anyone interested.
I have a question and I wanted to know if from my volvo s40 from 2006 there is any way to put music from it, or should I buy a radio and something external to the car itself, thanks in advance
Not sure, I would check on swedespeed which is a very resourceful forum for Volvo enthusiasts. Here's a link: www.swedespeed.com/forums/s40-v50-2005-2012.54/
There's a company that makes a bluetooth receiver box for it, but it depends on what kind of radio you have in the car. Certain radios have the connections on the control box, certain ones don't. In the S40/V50/C30/C70 cars, I think the AM/FM/Cassette equipped cars can't have the upgrade, but the other ones can. I'd done it to my 2006 S60 with the HU850 stereo and 300 watt amp. We ended up mounting the box next to the left rear shock mount against the seat back and ran the wires along the harness. It worked surprisingly well!

They're really comfortable cars and if you do the maintenance right they will last forever. I really enjoy driving it!
@@EUROCARGUY Exactly that, they service theirs every year, it's never broken down once in the 16 years they've had it
Same dude, my grand mother also had one it’s the nostalgia I guess
