Hey great job! How do you get so much sustain? I think Phil has an e-bow like pickup in his Jackson, is that what you have? Or is there some other way. My boss sustain pedal wont give me anything like that. Appreciate your help thank you again
Thanks. No I don't have the sustainer pick up that Phil has. I think the sustain help comes a little from the compressor. Other than that I don't know for sure. :)
bwm5150 The “Single Version” (Revised, Original). The one the was on the US version of Vault. As much as I love this version, the other just has such a beautiful melodic tone to it, I feel as if it suits the song much more.

The 'revised' version that you are refering to is the acoustic version of this song. It is the original version. It is on the American version of Vault but it first came out on the album Retro Active along with the electric version and the piano version.

Beautifully simplistic. The phrasing is pretty sparse, which you don't see in too many Def songs. Maybe that's why they didn't go with it originally?

I use a Boss ME50. It's a crunchy distortion with 50% gain and I use a compressor on it to squeeze it out. :)
