I left Australia before Killing Heidi were formed and haven't listened to much 'new' music since I left. Just discovered them. Saw a video on RUclips of Ella Hooper covering Divinyls, Pleasure and Pain, and out of curiosity of who would dare attempt to cover Chrissy's songs, I had a listen and was pleasantly surprised by Ella's voice, so I started checking out some of Killing Heidi's songs. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Love the juxtoposed slow and fast pace in their songs, love the guitar sound, love her voice, love the way she phrases lyrics. It's like discovering a vein of gold! (But still prefer Chrissy's vocals on Pleasure and Pain)
