Very cold, snowy, and windy here in Colorado today. I pray you and Meadow are safe in your tent 🙏. Glenwood Springs is a great place to go as well, but the springs you visited looks very nice. Thank you for sharing that. I already know you’re a good person, but how people love and care for their animals is very defining. Hi beautiful Meadow 🥰
Man, those hot springs are looking real nice! This storm finally hit the eastern part of New Mexico. Really enjoying the snow and watching your videos. Wishing I was in my tent enjoying a fire! Cheers, Brian 🍻. Stay warm my friend.
Brian you make winter camping look so good i am sure you had to put a lot of work in.I hope your hand heals quickly you,re not the only one i managed to tear a tendon in my middle finger so have to wear a cast for 2 months have a great weekend we are the grip of an ice storm at the moment stay safe
Good on you for keeping things from touching the tent inside, onto of the most important things I was taught as water is drawn through the fabric at those contacts & will ruin your tent- Impressive it has lasted so long!
i prayers for you and meadow are safe in your tent. you are brave.. love your videos and channel.. have a good day and weekend. take care and god bless.
I have learned so much about camping and winter camping from you that made my first time out by myself a little easier. Your tip tricks and channel has improved my camping experiences like 10 fold. Ty Ty for sharing your journey with us.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs out there in Glenwood Springs is fantastic. Nestled up against the Colorado River. They have a "family" side and an "adult" side, we really enjoyed our time there. Hope the stakes hold tight and yall stay warm out there!
Looks cold up there. It's blowing and snowing in Castle Rock as well, but nearly like up there. Cancelled appts today to stay in and off the roads. I just love your dog, she's a sweetheart.
You bet, thank you for tuning in! I am getting into a good "work groove" with these daily uploads. Hope you continue to enjoy the vids! Have a great Thursday ~ Brian
I would just fall down and cry if I had to be in that weather. I’m hating Florida being in the 30’s at night the past few days. 😂❤ Meadow thinks you’re crazy. 😂
Just today I found your channel again (long story) have a lot of catching up to do. I this a new pupper?❤ May I ask about Sierra. You’re looking very good. Last time I saw one of your videos you were struggling with health issues. Very glad I found you again 👏
Picked my first tomato for the season...even thou l buy organic..nothing tastes better than home grown tomatoes...growing cucumber ..rockmelon and pumpkin..heaps os chard and silverbeet..vegie gardens are the best..you are a great dad to Meadow..hope you both dont blow away.. Take care
Being unable to camp anymore, I live vicariously through you 😀 you definitely need a new tent my friend. Maybe a go fund me for a new tent for Brian!!!
Hi ,from Florida. Know you've mentioned your exercise program, app on video. Could you give its name again. Thanks my mal pup is one month younger then Meadow so I can relate to her active behavior. Stay warm out there. Thanks for the info. and video s.
I think zippers will be the weak spot in most any tent. It would be great, especially on these higher end tents, if they had 'backup closures, like velcro, snaps, or even a bunch of loop and toggles to keep the doorways moreless shut. All that said, I wouldn't fare well with all the tent flapping noise while trying to sleep. Their will always be pluses and minuses to any tent you buy, I guess.
Can't tell by the video but the problem may not be the zipper but the actual zipper slide may have worn down. There are videos on RUclips on how to adjust the slide with a pair of needle nose pliers. Also, slides can be easily replaced with a little bit of modification. The type of slide (or sometimes called a 'pull' ) you need should be stamped on the back. Just need to make sure that the slide is for nylon or metal zipper teeth. I had a zipper that was separating on a winter coat that I thought needed replacing but all it needed was a new slide.
I don't know Brian. I hope the number of views you're getting are worth the pain of camping anywhere in the San Luis Valley in the winter. The wind chill here in the mountains of central Arizona at 5000 ft is 36 degrees Fahrenheit, more than low enough to satisfy my need to experience winter.
New to your channel, so if you mentioned this before, sorry. You ever think about getting a small cargo trailer (5×8, 6x10) to build out a little for your winter camping? Seems like it would be easier to pack up and move around instead of a tent! Sure you got reason, was just curious. Thanks for the entertainment. If I didn't have a wife, I'd probably be living this kind of life.
I love being out in a tent during bad weather, something about it makes me feel so alive! The gnarlier the conditions, the better. There are a few sleepless nights due to crazy winds but I love it. BTW - thanks for following along, hope you enjoy the content!
You are one of the best doggy daddy's I ever had the pleasure of meeting lol through video.
On my field cam in Colorado near kenosha pass it recorded -18 . You are brave my friend.
Love your videos. Meadow is stunning.
Wishing you both all the best from Sweden.

That wind would bug me. Stay safe.

Might want to hop in the camper bro. I've camped both ways. Campers rock.

My favorite hot springs in Colorado! Miss it so much since I'm doing winter right now on the front range.
Hi Brian and Meadow. Those were some really gusty winds . The breakfast looked yummy 😋. You and Meadow stay warm ❤❤
Wow Brian cold ❄️ and snow nice adventure,, hello meadow ☕🍩⛺
Wow! I remember you having situations like this years ago.
Full time RV guy , my crap is moving around on the stabilizers. This winter season extremely gusty all the time , but not much snow. 😊
Really enjoying the daily content. Thank you for ramping up your production.

Living in the san luis valley since 2012. Have to pieces of land south of 160. Love this valley.
Wow that wind was scary 😮😮

He has a new canvas tent but I think he like this one for long term winter camping better . Camilla’s no longer makes that model.
He also needs a new cap as the one he wears looks disgusting.
Nice truck camper ❤
I'm ready for spring.
Winter just started. 😂
@bleuskye8124 Well, it can hurry up and unstart.
@@michaeltaylor4984 😂
lol I’m willing to bet Cory and bill bought that Northology shirt for you. 😂 awesome people!
I do that with coffee too. Good strong cup sitting all night in the bodem.
We got it bad in Peyton Colorado..stay safe
What happened to the Ellis canvas tent you were using?
Is the Ellis tent that loud when the wind blows?
A lot quieter canvas tents make less noise.
I'm in Florida. It's 55 degrees and I'm freezing. 😂
Huh never been to that hot springs just the over priced ones in b.v😂.. Stay warm you all
It's currently 43F here in Seligman, but the wind is insane. I've seen gusts over 40 mph. Stay warm and safe.
I hear it’s been blowing pretty good out there for a few days now.
Snow, ice and freezing rain tomorrow in Atlanta😮
Dern! Rough wind there. Ive got those same plates, Marlboro Gear rewards from 25 years ago.
Great area of Colorado!
Yeah I really like this area
❤

Crazy weather. Two days now with accumulating snow in the SW New Mexico desert 30mi North of the border is UNHEARD of.

Have you ever camped with Campulance Man and his dog Lefty? He and you are my favorite two nomads.

On our end the sound of the wind is pretty scary. Wish you would check back with us later today,so we would know how you and pumpkin are doing..
Hello from Chicago
Hello from windy Colorado!

It's butt cold out here and I'm fresh out of beer
What is that you pull on tightening the ropes on the tent?
Did you ever consider one of those thick canvas tents for winter camping?
I agree... You need a go fund me and some companies to support you with new gear... A new tent... Stove... HAT... lol!😂🐕❤
GR8 Vid is this the best tent you have tried for High winds?
Tough camping
Making my 3 degree night seem like a spring night
Why do you have an aluminum can in back of stove?
Do you ever think about doing a crackpot meal in the cold 🥶 whether 🍲
❤️❤️❤️👋😁
You have same hand grinder and moka pot as i have.
👍
I missed it. How did you tweak your thumb?
Not sure, happens sometimes when I chop wood so that may have been it.
😊😊❤
I think I would have been hiding in the truck in that wind, jeez.
From South Africa am I missing something ? Your cabin ?
Hello, I don't have a cabin. Are you possibly thinking of a different content creator?
@OffGridBackcountryAdventures possibly., probably, if so, my bad 👎 mind re - tuning my old valve processor? Who .... ?
Yo Brian, where are you dude I wanna bring my trailer up there. Let me know. I’m down to do some camping and I’ll bring a pound of bacon.
Been there once.
Is there a beer can in your firebox for a reason?
Yes, aluminum cans in the firebox reduce creosote.
I don't like camping in windy conditions.
I was hoping to see a coat on your dog.
She’s fine.
Looks like he is north of villa grove . Up towards poncha pass colorado
Going to the hooper hot pools in the San Luis Valley. I sat the ocean containers the bar is made out of.
That is where he was. North of the great sand dunes.
First stop was villa grove
Yummy looking breakfast, now I need to buy some BAGELS 🥯
👍
