Hi Maic, I have a 92 dodge stealth rt auto with I believe bad transmission control module. It happens once years ago, I replaced it and the new used TCM worked fine for 4 years, then again transmission went on default 3rd gear limp mode, could that be caused by the TCM or might be something else? I have sent out this TCM to check and they found no issues with it...
Good afternoon Maic. I purchased a preprogramed computer (cardone) is it necesary to have it flashed to vehicle vin? can anti theft create no start issue? Thanks from Canada.Much appreciated.
What would cause my throttle to push real easy with the engine off but as soon as I start it the throttle becomes stiff? This Dodge Stealth has cruise control.
The vehicle frame is the main current path to the battery negative terminal in most vehicles and nearly all elecrtical components are connected to it. It is reffered to as ground or negative in North American automotive engineering. I think the Automotive engineers in the UK call it earth. We're talking about mostly DC circuits with only a positve and negative. No third wire like your house.
@@Ilikeryche You missed my point. Calling a negative terminal "ground" in a D.C. circuit is wrong. At least in a vehicle. It has no reference to "ground" or "earth". It is a negative connection.
Extremely thorough analysis sir. You showed us some excellent lessons in this video. Thanks!!
Great work as always. You and James Barratt are the best automechanics on youtube in my opinion. Explain very well.
Pero thank you so much for your kind comment.

where did you buy the computer
Good fix my friend. Cheers
Thank you!
What would cause my dash not to work but boost gauge and everything else works

Albert DeVogelaere if you got a Cardone they would ask you for the VIN if is necessary.
Yes the Anti Theft can cause a no start. Try disconnecting the ECU for 10 min then reconnecting it.

I will start by disconnecting the cable for the cruise control from the throttle body to see if that is the problem.

Do you have a video on how to ground the iacv after install?
King Bea5tm0de1 sorry I don’t
PLEASE PLEASE stop calling it a GROUND. That only applies to an EARTHED system. As in a main distribution panel in a building. Use negative or common.
@luigi lasagne I see where you are going. But as an Electrician, I know that ground means earth. And my friend, vehicles are not earthed. Trust me.

@@turbojoe2 It doesn't matter what you call it, as long as you know how it works.
