Extremely biased review in my very humble opinion. 1) Notice how suneel bhai did not physically sit in the back, i,ve personally experienced that the back seat is extremely congested. 2) Suneel bhai mentioned about dynamic guidelines when reversing. Notice how that point wasn't emphasized. 3) The panel on CBU was light years ahead as compared to what the users are getting in CKD(andoid tablet). 4) In every hybrid car review, suneel bhai always talks about the price difference of a gasoline car and hybrid. Like he always used to say ke gasoline ka price difference as compared to expensive hybrid doesn't make sense, but he did not mention anything of that sort here. 5) Comparing a sub C-segment(cross) with proper C-segment(h6 and santa fe) is criminal in my humble opinion. It should be compared with jolion. Basically jolion is to cross what h6 is to toyota rav4. 6) Notice how suneel bhai said ke torque is ample, cross produced 205Nm, h6 and santa fe produce nearly 500Nm. How is it ample? 7) Throughout the video, suneel bhai has emphasized about the sales. Iski sale hurt hojayegi, uski sale hurt hojaegi. My question is why? Your job as a reviewer is to objectively test the car and give us your honest thoughts. 8) Lastly, when i personally went to check the car in december, they told me feb 24 mein deliveries houn gi. I went on the first day of launch and they said sir jan 24 ki bookings khatam hogai hain. 10 days later, i received a call from the same dealership asking if i book the car they,ll deliver in jan 24. I'll leave it upto the reader to decide if the sales are really up to the mark. P.S: my sincere advice is to go and physically check the car and test drive it. Also, suneel bhai khud kehte hain jb japanese cars ziada hui thein toh unhe ne kaha tha koreans ko gari nhi banani ati. Jb korean car ziada hui toh sab ne kaha chinese ko nhi banani ati. You are a household name and its things like these that have started to irk an avid watcher like me and many others. People very vividly know where your sympathies lie(ahem ahem lifafa vs toyota). Please be a bit more neutral in your reviews, otherwise, i hate to say this but there will come a time when somebody will replace you.

Avg is a big issue now a days in Pakistan I have Tucson awd and I am fed up of its average(although it’s a great car) … if you have a daily commute of 50km or above then average is a big factor

A localised and Pakistani manufactured hybrid electric vehicle was a dream in the past but Toyota made it a reality. I personally think Corolla Cross is a better pick that everyone else in the market. Love you Pakwheels for this unbiased video
I used this car for 1 month. It has seriously compromised rear leg space, it's less than Aqua and even Nissan Juke. Rear space is not at all practical. Average height person of around 5'7" cannot sit comfortably at the back if the driver puts his seat back all the way. Rear luggage space is also limited.

The car is smaller in size than tuscon and sportage. Why would anyone pay Rs. 2 million extra just to have good fuel average within city. In the long run, battery would phase out and its replacement cost will off set the benefit. Loving & driving my 2023 Lexus ES 300H in sonic titanium (not even available in Pakistan!) is a dream. Despite its 2.5L engine, I'm amazed by the 20-24 km/L it delivers. That beats the Corolla Cross's 14-19km/L any day.

COMPLETELY DISAGREE with the legspace point, this is one of the most cramped cars i've experienced in terms of legroom at the rear, stop providing misleading and as usual "biased" info my height is between 5'9-5'10 and my knees touched once the seat is adjusted at the full back position. Not worth the price at all would rather go for sportage or tucson rather than spending more than 1 crores just for hybrid. (not practical)

Unlikely. Mehran was popular because it had no rivals. This enters a fiercely competitive segment with Oshan X7 Tiggo8 both D segment full houses, more powerful, quicker, larger screens, great software. This is for Toyota lovers only, the Nokia of automobiles which will sell on brand loyalty only.
There's no such thing as "Fully manufacture" in auto world. Every country has assembly plants just like Pakistan does. No one manufactures the whole product, they buy parts from their local available vendors. What matters is how much localization a company can do. This is where our auto companies are lacking, they never properly focused on localization. In the case of Corolla Cross, Toyota claims they have localized more than 50% of its parts, which is probably why we're also getting a set of lower quality locally purchased tyres in Corolla Cross as compared to Corolla sedan which comes with a set of higher quality imported tyres. Well you gain one thing, you loose one. But it's ok, at least now they're focusing more on localization, that's exactly what we need. The other thing we need is a Car Engine assembly/manufacturing plant in Pakistan in which no auto maker have ever invested sadly. Having locally manufactured engines could greatly impact the car prices I believe. Obviously it goes without saying, that in future, we will also be needing a Battery Manufacturing plants for EVs, specially for smaller vehicles like Bikes and Autos. Let's hope at least a couple of auto makers start engine and battery manufacturing plants in Pakistan.

One recommendation, whenever you do 0-100 of any vehicle project a chart after it with ranking of fastest to slowest to provide a better reference of where a particular car stands amongst others. Watch how Hagerty media to get a better idea. Would be a nice value addition to the content.
Only a Toyota fanboy can describe torsion beam suspension as a good decision . Good vehicle for the price though. Missing lumbar support in driving seat will be an issue on long drive.
Key point not mentioned this deploys a NiMH battery Vs Lithium Iron on Haval and Santa Fe. Massive difference and Pakistani are not aware of battery chemistries including Suneel Manj. Obviously NiMH battery is cheaper and loses charge when idle, has lesser life therefore will die before rivals.
1- Looks smaller than other SUVs like Sportage and Tucson. 2- Legroom is not sufficient for rear passengers. 3. Back is not much attractive 4- Old Fashioned rims 5. No panoramic roof 6- No Handbrake

A flop car not selling at all at the price tag of 1 Crore. First they were taking orders with delivery of 3 months and now they are delivering this immediately. Looks like a biased review to me. Leg space in the rear is less. It's even less than Honda City GM6. Acceleration is mediocre. It's like B-Segment sedans like Alsvin 1.5, City 1.5, Yaris 1.5. Boot space is also ok. Not too good nor too bad. Price is less than Haval H6 and Santa FE because it's small and less powerful. The only benefit of buying this vehicle is fuel economy in city driving only. On motorway, hybrids have zero benefit

The legroom is really bad. I went to Toyota showroom with my family to check the car and take a test drive. In the back we were all cramped up and uncomfortable whereas in my Corolla grande '22 we're much more comfortable in the back. No doubt the car is amazing and it's doing good in the market too but this is a major drawback in this hybrid.

I felt this Review was Biased. He didn’t compare it to other much better electric and hybrid options such as HAVAL and SERES 3. Moreover, he compared Cross to Sportage and Tucson.. while cross is quite small and the back seats are cramped. I believe, with the features and the price Cross is being offered is not good at all, considering the real competitors of it such as Seres and Haval.

I had the option of buying a Toyota cross or a KIA Sportage. When I sat in the cross, I immediately noticed how congested it is, especially in the back. It’s not at all a spacious vehicle and don’t even get me started about the boot space. Moreover, it doesn’t even have a panoramic sunroof. I decided to go for the 13 lakhs cheaper KIA Sportage, which is way more spacious than this.

A person spending 10 million on a car will be more concerned about features, comfort and seating capacity than fuel economy. Moreover you're not actually saving anything as you're paying the price (approx 2 million) in advance for a hybrid version. Hybrid has no benefit until or unless its price is comparable to a non'hybrid version. I am going to buy a Tucson after thorough market analysis.

Loving & driving my 2023 Lexus ES 300H in sonic titanium (not even available in Pakistan!) is a dream. Despite its 2.5L engine, I'm amazed by the 20-24 km/L it delivers. That beats the Corolla Cross's 14-19km/L any day.

This is my first ever comment on Pakwheels but since day one I’ve observed your slight bulging towards Toyota and IMC.
It would be better if you highlight cons of this vehicle equally and spit some bitter facts including horsepower figures leg room and others.

COMPLETELY DISAGREE with the legspace point, this is one of the most cramped cars i've experienced in terms of legroom at the rear, stop providing misleading and as usual "biased" info my height is between 5'9-5'10 and my knees touched once the seat is adjusted at the full back position. Not worth the price at all would rather go for sportage or tucson rather than spending more than 1 crores just for hybrid. (not practical)

Unlikely. Mehran was popular because it had no rivals. This enters a fiercely competitive segment with Oshan X7 Tiggo8 both D segment full houses, more powerful, quicker, larger screens, great software. This is for Toyota lovers only, the Nokia of automobiles which will sell on brand loyalty only.
There's no such thing as "Fully manufacture" in auto world. Every country has assembly plants just like Pakistan does. No one manufactures the whole product, they buy parts from their local available vendors.
What matters is how much localization a company can do. This is where our auto companies are lacking, they never properly focused on localization. In the case of Corolla Cross, Toyota claims they have localized more than 50% of its parts, which is probably why we're also getting a set of lower quality locally purchased tyres in Corolla Cross as compared to Corolla sedan which comes with a set of higher quality imported tyres. Well you gain one thing, you loose one. But it's ok, at least now they're focusing more on localization, that's exactly what we need.
The other thing we need is a Car Engine assembly/manufacturing plant in Pakistan in which no auto maker have ever invested sadly. Having locally manufactured engines could greatly impact the car prices I believe. Obviously it goes without saying, that in future, we will also be needing a Battery Manufacturing plants for EVs, specially for smaller vehicles like Bikes and Autos.
Let's hope at least a couple of auto makers start engine and battery manufacturing plants in Pakistan.

Sportage is larger inside and out, Tiscon is also larger, this is cramped
One recommendation, whenever you do 0-100 of any vehicle project a chart after it with ranking of fastest to slowest to provide a better reference of where a particular car stands amongst others. Watch how Hagerty media to get a better idea. Would be a nice value addition to the content.
Only a Toyota fanboy can describe torsion beam suspension as a good decision . Good vehicle for the price though. Missing lumbar support in driving seat will be an issue on long drive.
Key point not mentioned this deploys a NiMH battery Vs Lithium Iron on Haval and Santa Fe. Massive difference and Pakistani are not aware of battery chemistries including Suneel Manj. Obviously NiMH battery is cheaper and loses charge when idle, has lesser life therefore will die before rivals.
1- Looks smaller than other SUVs like Sportage and Tucson.
2- Legroom is not sufficient for rear passengers.
3. Back is not much attractive
4- Old Fashioned rims
5. No panoramic roof
6- No Handbrake

A flop car not selling at all at the price tag of 1 Crore. First they were taking orders with delivery of 3 months and now they are delivering this immediately. Suneel always takes side with Toyota and never reveal the negative points. This car is size of KIA Stonic. Think before spending this amount of money on this. This car is nowhere near Haval H6 or Santa FE.

Corolla Cross all the way! Test drive li thi mene and product bht acha hai. Good option in the compact SUV segment and Toyota Hybrid Technology is miles better than anyone. Average of Cross is also 20-25 I think.

Looks like a biased review to me. Leg space in the rear is less. It's even less than Honda City GM6.
Acceleration is mediocre. It's like B-Segment sedans like Alsvin 1.5, City 1.5, Yaris 1.5.
Boot space is also ok. Not too good nor too bad.
Price is less than Haval H6 and Santa FE because it's small and less powerful.
The only benefit of buying this vehicle is fuel economy in city driving only. On motorway, hybrids have zero benefit

Bahi ur statement is totally wrong . I physically checked back seat leg space is very bad. Tyres r bad quality, front lights seem yaris back lights, alloy rims 10 year old. Peoples can analyse their selves. I can say this is paid review.

The legroom is really bad. I went to Toyota showroom with my family to check the car and take a test drive. In the back we were all cramped up and uncomfortable whereas in my Corolla grande '22 we're much more comfortable in the back. No doubt the car is amazing and it's doing good in the market too but this is a major drawback in this hybrid.

I felt this Review was Biased. He didn’t compare it to other much better electric and hybrid options such as HAVAL and SERES 3. Moreover, he compared Cross to Sportage and Tucson.. while cross is quite small and the back seats are cramped. I believe, with the features and the price Cross is being offered is not good at all, considering the real competitors of it such as Seres and Haval.

I had the option of buying a Toyota cross or a KIA Sportage. When I sat in the cross, I immediately noticed how congested it is, especially in the back. It’s not at all a spacious vehicle and don’t even get me started about the boot space. Moreover, it doesn’t even have a panoramic sunroof. I decided to go for the 13 lakhs cheaper KIA Sportage, which is way more spacious than this.

A person spending 10 million on a car will be more concerned about features, comfort and seating capacity than fuel economy. Moreover you're not actually saving anything as you're paying the price (approx 2 million) in advance for a hybrid version. Hybrid has no benefit until or unless its price is comparable to a non'hybrid version. I am going to buy a Tucson after thorough market analysis.
