I used to fly the alouette 2 helicopter when i was in the French air force base in nime south of France, from1978 to 1980 the alouette 2 helicopter is the most sophisticated helicopter in the world, merci pour le video a votre sante hulaluia....
Lovely. (I was distracted at the start of this, by the 'interesting' arrival of the Squirrel behind it....that almost got messy!). The Llama versions of these are also amazingly capable machines and still look great. 😊
Thank you. Yes, I was actually filming the AS350 when suddenly the Lama started its engines. Situations like this are really difficult to manage for aviation film enthusiasts as you cannot clone yourself, unfortunately... ;-)
Awesome! Are these still flying a lot in France? My father used to own one in the Netherlands (PH-NSW) I would love to get him a tour in one again as a present. Thanks
There were several more of these helicopters in Cholet - on static display. I'll probably add another video with a photoshow

Not sure how many owners offer tours but this website seems to show all registered active Helicopters in France: www.rotorspot.nl/current/f-c.php
