Way to go Matty, you make it look super easy! Gotta love the distinct sound of that turbine, as a proud member of the South African Defense Force many moons ago I remember how excited we got when we heard the Alouette III gunships coming to save our butts during bush-war excursions.
South African Air Force used this wonderful heli for many years. I did my trade training on it and qualified as an aircraft electrician. Lots of fun flying and working hours...
In Japan, it was operated by the Tokyo Fire Department until 1990. Its distinctive sound could be recognized from a distance. 日本では1990年まで東京消防庁が運用していました。独特の音は遠くからでも判別出来ました。
Can see some folks in the comments peaked in middle school and are just as lovely and desperate, ugh… Outside of, them, got to say it’s really interesting how the cyclic barely needs any adjusting. Is that par for the course on an AloIII? Or has that been adjusted somewhat for more responsiveness? I’ve noticed on some bigger and newer birds? You here to give far more input to get out to do what you’re trying to, so. That struck me as a bit odd

I hope Hailey "spent time behind bars" as in the bars on the uniforms of military rotary wing pilots - flying below the surrounding canyon peaks has high risks if an auto-rotation is required.
Ya, and those things don't autorotate that good. Engine quits, look at your feet and that's where you're going. At least, don't seem to be any electrical transmission towers around, and wires in between.

Gotta love the windscreen design super great pilot surrounding visibility.
A lovely young lady flying a lovely old lady….awesome…
this lady has mad skill, she caressing that cyclic, so little input, so smooth.

I'm going to have to watch that video again, apparently there was a helicopter in it? Boy that Pilot is cute....
With that much window area, it makes for a great sightseeing helicopter
The one thing I've noticed about flying helicopters is that it does not take a lot of movement of the cyclic to make it fly
Super!
❤ flying 👍🏻
Piękny widokowy lot śmigłowcem
Crazy how minimal the cyclic pitch inputs are.
Genial

Dose Hailey have a flying channel of her own.
I'm not sure Terence.
Beautiful views 😊
For years I advocate to avoid wearing those look-out limiting devices (baseball caps) in any cockpit 🥶🫣
