Tldr: ichigo became human again and hated it.

Think about it Aizen put this man through essentially torture he’s fabricated every encounter up until dangai Ichigo who forces power from Zangestsu who just wanted to protect him all of the mental strain aizen put this kid through JUST to have a fight. Ichigo is done with it all. He then realizes what he wants works his ass off to get his powers back just to have them stolen from him AGAIN. I believe it’s truly beautiful that in the midst of Ichigo’s despair the one person to give Ichigo back his power is the same one to help him in the very beginning.

Aizen doesn’t know about the Final Getsuga because Isshin never used it he only learned of it by forcing Engetsu to teach him. Aizen plotted out Ichigo’s life only to get Rukia in a position where he could get the Hogyoku from her body. He never expected to lose to Ichigo because he didn’t know the specifics of his powers other than the basis of where they come from, so Ichigo was interesting to him regardless and those powers combined were a good way for Aizen to rapidly progress his own.

But again I think Final Getsugatensho/Mugetsu is something that’s kept a heavily secret, that’s the best way I can think it makes sense, we don’t know how much research Aizen has done on the 5 big clans. I mean to even learn Mugetsu, you need to “force” your Zanpaktou to teach it to you, it’s something hidden deep within, seems hard to know for an outsider. Despite Aizen monitering Ichigo’s life, it doesn’t seem like he knows all that is about him. He never expected to lose to Ichigo because he didn’t know the specifics of his powers other than the basis of where they come from, so Ichigo was interesting to him regardless and those powers combined were a good way for Aizen to rapidly progress his own.

@@hrik6629 I don’t think it’s not that he didn’t know, rather it seems like Ichigo’s assumption about Aizen might be true, he just wanted to have someone on his level, that’s why he worked so hard to “nurture” Ichigo to his top potential. But again I think Final Getsugatensho/Mugetsu is something that’s kept a heavily secret, that’s the best way I can think it makes sense, we don’t know how much research Aizen has done on the 5 big clans. I mean to even learn Mugetsu, you need to “force” your Zanpaktou to teach it to you, it’s something hidden deep within, seems hard to know for an outsider. Despite Aizen monitering Ichigo’s life, it doesn’t seem like he knows all that is about him. He used to think post Vasto Lorde Hollowfied Bankai Ichigo was as high as he could get but as we see all the way up to No Breathes From Hell Arc, Ichigo has continued to improve.
So glad I started watching bleach so i can catch up in time for October currently on season 9 :)
