I see people build the benches around trees all the time… BUT what happens when the tree grows out of the bench? And when sitting on the bench you risk getting pooped on my birds… seen it happen…. I guess if you really really wanted to, you could tear the bench down in several years and build another… but then that would be a waste of good wood (IF you pre-treated the wood correctly). Guess you could build some kind of shelter from poop too…😂

@@nazranhaziq8061 yes I had one minus the wires only a couple of feet tall , all I'm saying is if there is vegetation near it , there will be spiders , critters of all types , if there is only cement it will take a while but winds will carry spiders into the little cracks and crevices ..and sooner or later it will demand some type of attention.. such as bug repellent and whatnot.
