May the Funny Be With You!
When was Ray Wise The Punisher? I'm thinking you meant Ray Stevenson. lol
It was gonna really bother me if someone else didn't notice that too
Jon Bernthal really make the Punisher more humanize and sympathetic even he is a crazy psycho killing machine rather the one dimensional Frank Castle we saw in the movie. Even though i think Thomas Jane did a great job as Frank Castle.
only like because you like jane's version
Are you just reading Wikipedia?
geekrockrats sadly he is :(
i just finished daredevil season 2 and Jon Bernthal was great as the punisher.
oh ep 9 was perfect
Punisher is pretty awesome.
Marvel's original origin for the punisher is a kind of odd mix up , in the original 1'st origin he was only a sgt ( E-5' )
with 5' years in the corps ( usmc ) then in the late 90's rewrite he was made an officer and the 1'st original punisher he was lame because he actually used not non lethal rubber bullets and it was in the late 80's and very early 90's that he became a stronger in character and way after during the 2000' era that under the writing of limey wild man Garth Ennis that the punisher became a true bad a%$
There are tight similarities between Frank Castle and Mack Bolan. So much so that there is heavy speculation that Mack Bolan was the inspiration for the Punisher. The big difference between the two was that Mack Bolan would never ever kill cops.
I think mispronouncing at least 10 words not counting Italian last names,is a running gag. There's just too many. That's not a dig though because this is well done,it's just funny the more it happens. Especially Triads and tier. I only know Castiglione because I grew up with a girl with that last name, but yeah this was cool, thanks
Errr...not trying to stir anything, but I felt you were a little rude to your co-host a couple of times. I understand you know the character and topic better than her, but no reason to be so snippy. I couldn't finish this one because of that, but really enjoyed the one you did about Batgirl.
deathstroke and punisher, enough said.
Is there an actuall issue that shows the Punisher kills himself, or do we just hear about it in Purgatory?
oh l love that Stan Lee impression. it should be a weekly segment
Hey, ignore the haters that attack you on the civil war trailer. It's ur opinion you sorta work with DC.
Ignore all the heaters their just jealous they are t working with DC
But if you aren't working with DC my mistake I heard it from someone
gotta love the Gah- New-Chi crime family
Can you do a lesson on Luke cage anytime soon??
+Watchorpass I don't remember if they said it on this episode (I listen to it on Itunes) but they said they would do Luke Cage when his Netflix show comes out, so expect it around September.
Anyway, I loved this lesson, obviously, and Bernthal was by far the best Punisher we've ever seen. He's actually an emotional character instead of merely a killing machine, yet he's also that at the same time, and you're afraid of what he's going to do every time he's on screen. He's terror personified.
The best anti hero of all!!!
I know you have done zoom but can we please get a reverse flash eobard thawne episode!? I watch everything you do Jason and Ashley from guest spots on collider to dc all access and every episode of geek history!!
oh l love that Stan Lee impression. it should be a weekly segment
