Do you know what vogueing is though? It's technically a mix of dancing and fighting, and was used as a way of settling differences in the LGBT "ballroom" scene without violence. It had plenty of rhythm, and that's how it's supposed to be structured.

All of them dance fairly well, but this is definitely NOT a fair fight. Electro dance does have a lot of energy and intensity to it, but Vogue has an art form behind it. I saw a comment on here comparing vogue to ballet, and it couldn't be truer. I commend every single performer on this stage. and i pray all of their careers go far.
both styles have art behind of them personaly i think it was a regular fight with difrent styles just that... vogue is more sofisticated and elektro is more rude... in fact, vogue took certain elements of electro as well as hiphop and many other types of dances to incorporate them into their style and create their own.
I'm not saying that vogue is a copy or a plagiarism but it seems unfair to me that they minimize the value of one type of dance by comparing it with another that is totally different and that complement each other so well

Vogue slayed! The guy in the turquoise shirt was getn very irritating acting childish like they needed something to get them act so he relied on teasing them. If you watched the video, surely you must notice the electro team is bullying the vogue team (which doesnt work lmao) electro team looks like theyre on a street dance fight , they don't represent electro dance as a whole, they just throw sick hand gesture that arent even that complex compared to hard-trained moves.
While the vogue team really captures what vogue is, the BEAUTY, the DRAMA, they may look simpler, but some of their moves are hard without practice for a loooong time.
TL;DR. Electro Team.... ok, Vogue Team got experience and did good.

I'm a electro dancer (among other things) and i can straight up say that this guys dont know what thay are really doing, their movements are so bland and there are too much "vogue inspired" moves to be considered just electro... too much coping.

I love all the people trashing electro here , yet are going on about respecting art. Two different dance styles, it’s clear there’s similar origins, but electro has its place in hip-hop and techno whole vogue aligns itself with house and disco. This is a cool WAH to bridge them together. Everyone looked like they all had fun here and the taunting looked like it was in good spirit. Both teams kicked ass. I want to see something like this take place in Harlem though OMG FIRE

I agree. But I can't blame them for being too on edge and defensive when it's not just a simple style of dance for them. It symbolizes freedom, pride, and fighting back. Voguing is power for a lot of LGBTQ+.

zynkaitos tektonik is a pretty cool style and I think these guys did a good job, even though I also perfer voging. Different styles just create different looks is all. They both require lots of intricate arm movements and fast thinking, but Vogue has more levels to it and requires a sassy attitude 😄
