@@ChiliM4nin Skoplje it is cleaned up, in Radoviš where I'm from it was never that bad, plus I live in a village which has great air quality and it's 8km away form the city
The same thing happens in our city Dibër (Debar) the German fabric KNAUF is killing us by the pollution they release all the chemicals and toxins. Cancer is widely spread , asthma, people losing eyesight.
Thank you for this documentary, it is very enlightening about the situation in our country. As a Macedonian, all I can say is since we lost all the smart sons and daughters to the foreign countries, all we can do is pay a german 10 denars per citizen (1.8 million denars = 300.000 euros) per month, for 1 year they will set us straight, spank us with a slipper and leave. We have definitely almost reached the point of no return and we must do something soon before it is too late.

I absolutely agree and good luck to Gorjan and everyone else fighting this. I left Skopje in 2014 and one of the reasons was that the air quality was horrible.
I mean let us talk about how you forced them to take on another language, be occupied, and even change the name of the country... bad air is least of their problems.

We are all guilty. When we start from ourselves, it is possible to stir things up. But we all want a new car, a holiday on the other side of the Earth, a new wardrobe. a new house with a swimming pool heated in the winter and cold in the summer, food from exotic countries, new ... We have to change our habits. As long as we have this awareness, those who make our wishes come true will be our fault. Big polluters are the product of our selfish behavior. The development of technology currently only contributes to pollution. And the latest green technologies are more like pushing the garbage under the carpet. We may destroy the planet, but it will find a way to heal its scars, as it has done many times before, of course without us.

The Arte of Propaganda. Macedonia pollutes way less compared to any given western country. Macedonia’s problem is that pollution gets trapped behind the hills.
Same shit. The point is that there's lots of pollution, and any additional pollutants definitely don't help the situation. I don't know how true that is but it would've been nice to mention that if it is true.

I am so sad that we are so uneducated in Macedonia. We have so much sensors from pollution from many different organizations governments and private. All of them give data. The data tells you what kind of pollution is out there. But we refuse to look at data and we just call it propaganda. If other countries have it worse that does not mean the air in Macedonia is clean and healthy.

Do your survey better.... Kosovo has at least 10x worse air pollution. Go take a walk in and around their capital at winter time, or just about any time of the year.

Not really, mostly the same in per capita, but less concentrated, on pollution maps during the winter that entire area is shit, but belgrade is by far the worst, and some other serbian cities, together with some macedonian and bosnian, kosovo never exactly tops the lists, but it's a shit too ofc.
Проблемот е во то шо сите пари одат во Скопје а другите градови тапкат вместо 20 и кусур години. Мора граѓаните а особбено и вработените во државните институции да кренат глас, против они кои ѓи распределват парите односно министерствата ама то е тешко да се случи оти повеќето се плашат да не бидат избркани од работното место, заради то шо нашата држава е комунистичка и главниот во партијата може да вработва и брка од работа. Ако нечини во здравството и нема хемотерапија треба да излезат или петции да се потпишват од здр работници да се поправи тоа. Неможи да снемва хемотерапија и неможи од цела Македонија таја терапија да ја има само во Скопје. Ако е загадувањето во прашање треба советите на сите градови кај шо има загадување да се спротистават на оние во Собранието и Владата, проблемот се решава но потребна е промена во свесното размислување на нашиот народ…
Цела Македонија смрди од загадување и ѓубре. А само 2 милиони луѓе сме (еден град е тоа во многу земји)..Волку неодговорен народ и градоначалници кои замижуваат и немаат визија и ум да се справат со ова е погубна реалност. Јас никогаш не сум возела кола и почитувам јавен транпорт но и тоа го уништија. Природата ја бранам но луди се по профит. А за што? Да имаат убава куќа, кола и ќеш и па у истата смрдеа и болна средина да живеат. Ген за самоуништување. А фала ти Игор што не престануваш да се бориш.
