If you are wondering about the Snoipar picture in the background of the first scene, it’s probably my fault. Here’s the explanation (and my opportunity for several shoutouts). A few months ago, Delak told me about his new project which was going to take place in a restaurant. He was looking for appropriate maps and props, such as furniture or food. Suddenly, a long lost memory rushed back to my head. In 2015, the year Delak, Salade au Thon and many Über-talented people made Turbulence, my friend MrEtmer and I also decided to participate in the Saxxy Awards. We gathered a few friends and volunteers, and set out to make a movie based in a restaurant. We had a scenario, dialogues and voice actors, rough animation passes, and most of all, a map and a bunch of different props modeled by our friend Aceman/Chase. The props included furniture, food items and paintings, which you can see in the restaurant scene of Soap Demo. They also included a Snoipar portrait drawn by a childhood friend of mine; I don’t actually remember who posed this Snoipar in SFM though... Unfortunately, due to circumstances partially beyond our control, the project fell apart a few weeks before the deadline. This devastated many of us, including Etmer and me. Fortunately, Chase was able to use a few of his props in other projects, but I always felt guilty about the work he and everyone else did for a Saxxy movie which never came to be. And now, 6 years later, Delak was looking for restaurant-themed props. I put two and two together, asked Chase and Etmer for permission, and showed Delak the maps and props. Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible for Delak to use the map due to lighting issues, but he found Chase’s props amazing. I therefore gave Delak the project files and he started the movie. A few months later, we can all finally see Soap Demo in all its glory and Chase’s amazing props in the first scene… including the Snoipar, which Delak included despite him not being a Demo. I was not expecting to see him in the movie - either Delak didn’t notice, or maybe it was a hidden shoutout… He’s the only one to know - but if it was a faux raccord, it was such an insignificant one when you consider everything else about the movie, an amazing piece of humorous animation. So, shoutout to you Delak for giving Chase’s props a time to shine; I am happy to see they were of use for you! But speaking of shoutouts, I think this is an appropriate moment for me to do a few of them. Shoutout to Etmer, Chase and all the others who participated to our Saxxy project, despite it never seeing the light of day. I hope these props appearing in Delak’s movie partially made up for that and could bring a bit of closure. For me at least, it did. To the audience, please go check the work of these fellows, it’s worth it! Shoutout to all the Saxxy teams whose project, like ours, was released too late or never did. For every Saxxy movie the audience was able to see and marvel at, how many of them fell apart, and for how many reasons? I hope you were able to remember there is a ton to learn from these “failures”, and that you were able to bounce back and make even better things later. Shoutout to all the Saxxy participants who finished a movie, but never won a statue. Shoutout in particular to the team behind The Jewel Escapade, still to me and to this day the one movie who should have won at least one Saxxy. And finally, shoutout to every person for which the Saxxies, and GMOD/SFM in general, have been a springboard for a career in professional animation. I consider myself very lucky to know a few of you, and I have been very glad and happy to see how far you have come. I seriously hope you can have an amazing career while keeping the flame and passion alive. The industry can be rough, but I hope you can still have fun in it and with your professional and personal craft! Merci encore, Antoine. Bonne chance pour le futur, quoi que tu choisisses de faire et quels que soient les univers dans lesquels tes animations se dérouleront désormais ! =)

Drunk: "Drunk Junior"
Everybody: **forced laughs**
A masterpiece of romantic drama, truly a gem among tired and played out soap operas
I love how Antoine Delak made the part at 3:35 where Demoman is posed like that one demoman in Heavy Is Dead where Demo says "I did it like dis"
every time demoman holds a revolver it must always happen
Omg first Demo Mesa and now this!
What nexts, you sure do love making insanely weird Demoman Videos.
*(THAT HOW I LOVE IT)*
Give this guy a Saxxy, he deserves it!
3:35 also love the “Heavy is Dead” reference.
@@Orangr Lol Delak does not even do his videos on SFM. this comment is just begging for likes.
@@Name-ul8es what do you mean?
@@Name-ul8es at this rate, he might as well, *imagine how insane they’ll be.*

I laughed so hard at that part
Thank you, Delak

This deserves way more recognition than it has now 😢
Seeing demoman doing scout's laugh is the most cursed thing I've seen.
Well this was sad, romantic and hilarious
5:04 i love that sound
All the Emotion we crave from Soap Operas and none of the fluff. Truly a Masterpiece.
‘Sniff’ this was one of the most beautiful series ever made since Dispenser My Heart, truly captivating and moves your heart to levels you’ve never drunk before

Once again, Delak continues to prove why gmod animations are the best thing on RUclips
The sentence mixing is beyond genius here.

This is actually one of the best sfm/gmod animations I have ever seen
4:20 i started laughing a lot at this part and didn't know why, until it took me a while to realize that that animation of the demoman running is the animation of the npc's from gta sa
0:40 made me laugh just because i’ve walked past it before
The fact that you can squish so many sentences from Demo's voicelines is just astounding. I mean, this madlad made Demo Mesa too, and that was also filled to the brim with unique sentence mixes. The audio doesn't get enough love from the comments, but it deserves all of it.
It got all..
Funny moments, sad moments, suspense, and moments that show you
Since. An 10/10
Also got some very good actors and places. Im just gonna say its pretty good

After he discovered who killed heavy, his life truly took a dark turn
He even matched how the camera weirdly looks so damn smooth 11/10 would binge again
0:52 I don't know why I find his pitch-shifted cry so hilarious.
This is a truly inspirational and life changing cinematic masterpiece.
