The effort you put forth to anything transcends yourself, for there is no futility even in death.” And I am here to say that RT have proven this belief to be true not only by continuing the work that their friend started but by creating a song that embodies one of his core beliefs that will go on to uplift many people who hear it and takes in the message it sends out to the world.

I never realized just how symbolic pyrrha's death was. She died in volume 3, the same volume Monty died. With Pyrrha's death, she motivated the team to become stronger to become the heroes the world needs, just as how Monty motivated CRWBY to keep making the show despite all the odds. It's phenomenal.

The thunder here is hitting at the right times to give the song an awesome effect. In a way, it makes me feel that Monty is watching as me and many others smile over this song and therefore he makes the badass music sound more badass with his heavenly powers. I only today fully realized what this song means......god damn I wish I could have known you Monty. I came to the fandom after you were gone, but all the same I miss you, and am grateful for how your dream, your show has changed me, and all the people who have contributed. I just hope rooster teeth will improve from a company aspect in the future and remember what made them great. It was individuals with dreams and just raw beautiful talent. I'll try to be even half as great as people like you.

At 3:40 you can hear Casey choke up a bit and I think that’s the most emotional part of the song for me. This piece truly does show the impact that Monty’s passing had on CRWBY.
