I like how there is just a solid 8+ track run of noughties indie rock on disc 1, perfect for me lmao

This brings back memories, I've been tryna find which Now Thats What I call music, album had the songs I loved most as a child, and I can finally end my seven year search lol XD

Jack Johnson never made appearances on Now 62 with Breakdown, Now 63 with Sitting, Wishing, Waiting, Now 69 with If I Had Eyes and Now 70 with Hope
Best Now of 2005 in my opinion.
It's a tough call between this one and 62 but maybe this one just shades it, NOW 60 is the weakest I think.

60%: Petty Decent - ratings: 6/10
50%: Average - ratings: 5/10
40%: Poor - ratings: 4/10
So would you say that out of all the NOWS only 98 & 100 fall into the 40% category?
@@robertatkinson1347 yess, they would indeed though the same alao applies to 11, 15, 19, 27, 41, 42, 80 and 104 as well, but 98 and 100 are just even worse
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66out of the ones you mentioned I don't mind 27 & 41 too much at all really and are the best ones from that list in my opinion 🙂
@@robertatkinson1347 yeah 1994 and 1998 aren't too bad, even if they're the worst of the 1990s. 2017 and 2018 are certainly worse 👌
Another category for the Nows I rate a 7/10 is the 'decent' category. The best Nows I rate a 7/10 fall in the 'good' category for me whereas I would put the slightly weaker ones fall into the 'decent' category, but still strong 👌
2003, 2004 and 2005 are the next best years of the 2000s after the last four years.
Mario never made appearances on Now 54 with Just A Friend, Now 55 with C'Mon, Now 62 with Here I Go Again, Now 68 with How Do I Breathe, Now 69 with Crying Out For Me and Now 74 with Break Up

I'm not surprised that John Legend: Ordinary People was absent from this album as it only peaked at #27 and the fact that I'm not a fan of the song either

@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 I also have to say I'm not a fan of 'All of Me' on NOW 87 as I find it just a bit too soppy and again it's a bit boring, and also not a huge fan of 'Love Me Now' on NOW 96 either, though it's probably still the best of the 3 songs 👌

John Legend - Ordinary People should have been on this album as it’s a beautiful song!
To be honest I'm not all that keen on it, not my cup of tea.

And most songs that instead appeared on Essential HITS released in late 2005.

And now we move away from the drab ballads and anonymous eurodance cheese that has padded out many a Now comp and towards that moment when guitars made an all-too-brief comeback in pop music.
Shame one no1 didn’t debut on the album - it was Get Right by Jennifer Lopez
As much as Madonna, Maroon 5, Jay-Z and Chris Brown are examples of artists that I love and slightly prefer to Taylor Swift, I'm technically starting to prefer Taylor slightly more though I probably prefer her a bit more to Will Smith as I now find Will Smith on par with Kanye West if not slightly weaker but they're really good artists also 👌 I still find the Kylie Minouge, Coldplay, Beyoncé and Rihanna slightly better than Madge, Maroon 5, Jay-Z and Chris as Kylie and Coldplay are more on par with Britney, P!NK, Gaga, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Jason Derulo and the Jonas Brothers whereas Beyoncé and Rihanna are more on par with each other if not also on par with JLO, Hillary Duff and Sabrina Carpenter 😀

Not too sure why Avenues and Alleyways is on here as it was released all the way back in 1972. Did it just randomly spring back into the charts or something?

I know it's odd but I've always wanted (since this album came out) to swap places don't Cha wanna ride and the avenue, it really bugs me. The start of again by Faith Evans and the avenue sound similar, and Joss Stone and Charlotte Church are both more indie. Do you agree?

Robert Atkinson thanks for replying rob :) I also believe Charlotte Church should be on disc 1 with the other rock songs, really doesn't suit there in my opinion :)
Cj Fisher that's alright if a comment is worth replying to I'll reply to it and yeah I see what you mean about Charlotte Churchs' 'Crazy Chick' I too am quite surprised it isn't on CD 1 too considering it's quite a big hit (it is after all played on the TV advert for this album) and of course Now are well known for including the bigger hits on CD 1 of their albums. I always thought the same with The Script's 'We Cry' on Now 70. It's sandwiched between all those dance hits on CD 2 rather than being amongst all the Indie hits on CD 1. Have you noticed this?
Robert Atkinson yes rob I noticed that too! Haha at least I'm not the only one who spots these things. I'm not sure whether or not 'Nine2Five' by The Ordinary Boys on now 64 has the same problem, but I guess it's not as indie as the rest. However I love on now 64 how they put faster kill pussycat and stoned in love on disc 1 between all the indie, that was pretty cool :)
Cj Fisher Yeah it was :) makes the disc somewhat more varied and it makes you think how random they can be with their track placings.

I was attempting to delete my unwanted google+ account and accidentally deleted my entire RUclips account instead, so i've made a new one. Unfortunatly though, most of the deleted tracklist vids were on my old PC which broke, so i now find myself having to start them over again from scratch. Sorry about that :(
