    PSA: Springs and swaybars are important. But one criminally overlooked modification that completely transforms the GTI is a 4 point brace that ties the lower control arm mounting points to the subframe. It eliminates changes in toe and caster under hard acceleration, braking and hard cornering and strengthens the entire front end in a way that you can feel just driving straight down the road or steering into your driveway or onto an off ramp at extra legal speeds. It also eliminates wheel hop and 90% of torque steer. I’d argue it’s just as effective as springs and sway bars and 10x better than any dogbone mount. My suspension is bone stock and I’m able to attack corners with reckless abandon AND put all 320 hp and 350 lbs/ft of torque to work coming out of corners. I have the TB Performance Products traction brace but there are others I’m sure. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I was expecting an improvement but was blown away at the transformation!
    Since I’m commenting on an Eibach video, get a set of Eibachs! I’ve had them in the past and they’re top notch.

    I am very disappointed because eibach prokit promised comfort and it fulfills it but when traveling due to the typical unevenness of the motorway or irregularity it hits the ceiling. In any trip of more than two hours it will hit about 3 times loke the bumb stop, so I go very very tense because those blows make me very angry

    • @Camarao_Pistola

      Check tyre pressure and shocks condition. Eibach is a bit firmer but you can't have better handling and more confort at the same time.

  • @RedondoBeach2
    @RedondoBeach2 Год назад

    Eibach, do your springs pair well with Bilstein shocks? I have a 2004 VW GTI. My objective is to maintain ride quality equally good or better than OEM for street & highway driving. Not track driving. Top priority: durability, ride quality and comfort. Secondary priority: performance. Anyone reading this who has Eibach springs, Bilstein B6 shocks or both installed on your GTI, I'm interested in your feedback on this combination for your car for street/highway use. Let me know the good and bad and please be specific when telling me what you have installed. Thanks everyone.

    • @Camarao_Pistola
      @Camarao_Pistola Год назад +1

      Bilstein b6 + eibach pro kit i think is great for improving driving dynamics on the street and occasional track days. But for confort it's not the best option. For confort better stick with sachs or bilstein b4 and OEM spring

    Hey great folks, I have the '19 GTI Rabbit edition, and can't decide between the Pro-plus and Sport plus kit with sway bars.. I have the 18 inch Pretoria wheels and personally want to go with the Sport Plus kit for a daily use. Is this an overkill and what would you suggest(btw I'm running the standard suspension ? I would really appreciate your feedback, and can't wait to get either one! Looking fwd to hear back from you!

    • @markkrumme7424
      @markkrumme7424 2 года назад +2

      Hi Marko! As you can see the Pro-Plus works very well, and we were truly impressed with it's ride quality and the improvements it made around the test track. That being said, we were also very impressed with how low the Sportline drops the GTI's (during development testing) and still offers great ride quality, so if you're ok with the increased drop, Sportline is the way to go in my personal opinion.

    • @dinevskimarko
      @dinevskimarko 2 года назад

      @@markkrumme7424 Thanks so much for your input, I do like the drop and that's what I'm going after the most. The only thing is that my wheels are 18 inch instead of the 19inch ones you're running in the video, and the gap with the Pro-Plus will be more noticeable, so if I decide to go with the Sport-Plus do you thing I'll have enough clearance based on your experience? Appreciate you getting back to me!
