In this Eibach Equipped video series, Mark and Vittorio compare a stock GTI to an Eibach Equipped GTI. Thanks to our friends from Sparco for lending us this vehicle and thanks to our friends at Adam's Motorsports Park in Riverside, California, Mark and Vittorio were able to record their reactions of a stock GTI compared to an Eibach Equipped one!

Mark, you’re a natural in front of the camera. Great video guys, keep em coming!
Thanks Graham!
PSA: Springs and swaybars are important. But one criminally overlooked modification that completely transforms the GTI is a 4 point brace that ties the lower control arm mounting points to the subframe. It eliminates changes in toe and caster under hard acceleration, braking and hard cornering and strengthens the entire front end in a way that you can feel just driving straight down the road or steering into your driveway or onto an off ramp at extra legal speeds. It also eliminates wheel hop and 90% of torque steer. I’d argue it’s just as effective as springs and sway bars and 10x better than any dogbone mount. My suspension is bone stock and I’m able to attack corners with reckless abandon AND put all 320 hp and 350 lbs/ft of torque to work coming out of corners. I have the TB Performance Products traction brace but there are others I’m sure. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I was expecting an improvement but was blown away at the transformation!
Since I’m commenting on an Eibach video, get a set of Eibachs! I’ve had them in the past and they’re top notch.
I have the pro kit springs and RSB from Eibach on my 2018 GTI.. it’s perfect for me. Definitely noticeable in daily driving. Chef’s kiss!!
hey! do you still have the springs installed on the car? how is it? is it still good? any regrets? i’m planning to do it too but dunno about it, many people address many issues with stock suspension tear and similar, anything like that?
@@keroro77 I do and have had them for over 4 years now without any issues. I love the lowered look of the car and how much more engaging the car is to drive.
@@billynguyen710 Did you have DCC by chance?
@@michaelphelan2841 no dcc
@@keroro77did you end up installing them? If so how are they with the dcc and all?
Great video guys!👏🔥
Thanks! Video collab hopefully soon! 👏👏
Who’s the guy in the white helmet tho?!? 😍😍😍😍
Mystery test driver!
Hey! Thanks for the informative video!
Isn't that 19 rims too big for the track drive?
I feel like 17 or 18 might be much lighter to drive stabile.
I love the look of and handling my lowered GTI with these springs. But man, it hurts to hit any bumps on the freeway. This can’t be good for my car
Correct. If you have some money by coil overs. If you have DCC buy the delete kit as well.
Are these compatible with DCC? I'm looking at springs and these are affordable and seem to have positive feedback.
Yes, all our springs are designed to work with the factory components.
Suspension not very heavy after install new kit? I want to put on my mach e
Nice
Nice!
Thanks! Which vehicle should we do next?!
@@EibachUSA I have this same setup on my 2010 Honda Civic Si Sedan and love it.
@@Rhosticks Good to hear!
2018 Golf 1.8 here, does the Eibach Pro-kit pair well with Bilstein B4 Struts/shocks? Im currently on factory springs with 160,000 kms on them so I’m sure they can’t handle much much more.
when will the rear sway bars be available again??
My Eibach on my mk8 gti squeaks loudly over bumps
Sounds nice and all but I don't want a lowered car 🤷
You don't have to lower your car.
then wrong video for you, buddy.
Hi, great video 👍. I drive an Golf 7,5 GTI myself en i was thinking about the pro kit and anti roll barrs. Can these be fitted with de DCC (Dynamic Control Chassis)?
I was wondering the same thing!
Volkswagen boi🚘
Buenas, que separadores de ruedas tienes delante y detrás.
Gracias y muy buen video.
Hi, there are no wheel spacers on this vehicle
Were the shock absorbers changed (dampers)? What age were the original springs?
We kept the original dampers on, the car had 39k miles.
I am very disappointed because eibach prokit promised comfort and it fulfills it but when traveling due to the typical unevenness of the motorway or irregularity it hits the ceiling. In any trip of more than two hours it will hit about 3 times loke the bumb stop, so I go very very tense because those blows make me very angry
Check tyre pressure and shocks condition. Eibach is a bit firmer but you can't have better handling and more confort at the same time.
Eibach, do your springs pair well with Bilstein shocks? I have a 2004 VW GTI. My objective is to maintain ride quality equally good or better than OEM for street & highway driving. Not track driving. Top priority: durability, ride quality and comfort. Secondary priority: performance. Anyone reading this who has Eibach springs, Bilstein B6 shocks or both installed on your GTI, I'm interested in your feedback on this combination for your car for street/highway use. Let me know the good and bad and please be specific when telling me what you have installed. Thanks everyone.
Bilstein b6 + eibach pro kit i think is great for improving driving dynamics on the street and occasional track days. But for confort it's not the best option. For confort better stick with sachs or bilstein b4 and OEM spring
Awesome 😎 👍 any rubbing with the 245 tires?
This vehicle rubbed on one of the trim screws on the front fender, we just removed it and it was fine after that.
@@EibachUSA awesome 👍 definitely want the pro kit for my 2018 GTI SE, will the Bilstein b8 shocks work with the prokit ??
@@petescarp4275 It should work with no problems.
@@EibachUSA just bought the prokits for my 2018 GTI SE can't make my mind up on Bilstein B6 or B8, which would be the better shock for the prokit? thanks for any advice
hello bro..u still you stock absorber? how much height of the car your car have you lowered?
Can u run a 19 inch wheel on the eibach sportline springs
Hey great folks, I have the '19 GTI Rabbit edition, and can't decide between the Pro-plus and Sport plus kit with sway bars.. I have the 18 inch Pretoria wheels and personally want to go with the Sport Plus kit for a daily use. Is this an overkill and what would you suggest(btw I'm running the standard suspension ? I would really appreciate your feedback, and can't wait to get either one! Looking fwd to hear back from you!
Hi Marko! As you can see the Pro-Plus works very well, and we were truly impressed with it's ride quality and the improvements it made around the test track. That being said, we were also very impressed with how low the Sportline drops the GTI's (during development testing) and still offers great ride quality, so if you're ok with the increased drop, Sportline is the way to go in my personal opinion.
@@markkrumme7424 Thanks so much for your input, I do like the drop and that's what I'm going after the most. The only thing is that my wheels are 18 inch instead of the 19inch ones you're running in the video, and the gap with the Pro-Plus will be more noticeable, so if I decide to go with the Sport-Plus do you thing I'll have enough clearance based on your experience? Appreciate you getting back to me!
i have vw golf 2.0 tdi se 2017 could you tell me what springs to go for ? I'm looking for around 20 to 25mm drop . thankyou 😊
Our PRO-KIT springs are usually the best
choice for something that is driven everyday.
Spacers installed?
Hello, there are no spacers on this vehicle.
Sway bars for 17 Corolla?
Unfortunately we no longer make these.
What wheel and tire are you running
Eibach’s are too heavy, it’s not good for sporty car. I prefer RS-R Ti2000.
Lol Eibach is the best on the market. What are you talking about? 😂
@@Camarao_Pistola i used them and found they are heavy weight. RS-R Ti2000 (Japan) springs are much lighter. I choose light weight for sports car
