I like the formatting way better than in the 1928. This looks like the 1979 and shows how it's what the 1979 should've been. It'd be cool to see you go through the 1662 BCP. Also, the Miserable Offenders podcast, part of the North American Anglican, did a 10 (maybe 12) episode commentary on Paul Elmor Moore's book. If you do a video on it, I'd also be interested to see you engage Nigro, et al's thoughts.
Fascinating that you have a prayer of Saint John Chrysostom in it, unfortunately there are not many Anglican Churches in Germany to have a conversation with believing Anglicans about how they live out their faith.
@@wesmorgan7729 Comparing with the new novus ordo Roman Catholic liturgy, I see in the Anglican high Church more Roman elements there that Rome got rid of after Vatican II.
There are some podcasts out there for that. I was doing daily recordings of it (for the 1928), but it ended up being too much for me at that time. I may start that up again.
Very helpful. Appreciate your observations about differences from 1928 and 2019 Standard.

I know the 1928 BCP has it too so it may have been in the 1662 one. I know Cranmer incorporated the Orthodox and Catholic elements of liturgy.

Thank you very much for this explanation and overview, very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Do you have any videos that are a summery of what Anglicanism believes?? Just curious as a LCMS.
a good source is the youtube channel "ready to harvest" which is about differences between denominations
The 39 Articles of Religion would be a good place to start.
My "Five reasons I became Anglican" video does so.
@@barelyprotestant5365 nice thanks
I downloaded the app. Sometimes I have the opportunity to listen to it via my phone. Is there a way to listen to the daily prayers via audio?

I didn’t read in your bio if you are in ACNA.
I'm not in the ACNA.
@@barelyprotestant5365 makes sense - good!
You believe you are saved by Faith?
Yes.
@@barelyprotestant5365 alone?
@@uganda_mn397that’s the traditional Anglican view, so yes. That doesn’t mean that works aren’t necessary to show an active faith.
@@christianf5131 so once you are saved you show works. Not before right
@@uganda_mn397 yes
