    Not one to bitch because this content is good, but the audio volume is crazy low. Difficult to hear. Might be worth turning it up and re-uploading.

    I would reload this with the sound turned up, amplify it in and editing program if you have to if it recorded that low for some reason. Even on my TV speakers that can blast through the whole house I have to turn it all the way up and still strain to hear. Would like to hear your opinion but stopped after a few minutes of straining.

    This backs up everything I've seen from others this weekend, with the exception of the mechanical problems. No matter, got me excited about the potential. I live in a place where lights and plates can open up some serious territory for this type of platform. Gas for now, but I'll take this serious in the near future.

    Great video and audio is fine, (just turn up the volume people!) As an enduro rider as well what if anything do you think they would add or change for an enduro specific model? They already have the 18" rear option and kickstand. Maybe headlight or softer suspension settings? Thanks

    • @RustMotoCollective
      @RustMotoCollective  2 года назад +1

      Hi Stu, for now the core bike will be the same for box mx and enduro except for , as you say, the suspension settings, kickstand and rear wheel size. Great question on the addition of a light so you can road register the bike. I'll follow up with the Stark CTO Paul and include that in the next video which will be out shortly. I had a good chat to him about a range of topics including enduro and their plans in that department for a podcast but missed this question. One last point. The bike as is is pretty nifty on single track - even with the KYB mx suspension.

    I would like to know if Stark has tried using larger wheels similar to what they do with mountain bikes. I've discovered with mountain bikes I prefer the larger 29 inch wheels, opposed to smaller 27 inch wheels, that is in almost every condition. Being as innovative as they are I'm curious if its been tried?

    • @RustMotoCollective
      @RustMotoCollective  2 года назад +1

      Good question Mike, I can ask Paul the Chief technical officer and come back to you but off the cuff and from the tech I've seen as part of the bike's chassis development I would say no. I come back to you.. thanks for the comments

    About the Chain blocks. there is one company that did it one notch better: Vertigo. on my 300cc trials bike you adjust them both simultaneously with one tool, then just tighten the bolt. You don´t even have to count clicks!

    • @RustMotoCollective
      @RustMotoCollective  2 года назад

      You learn something everyday - cheers thanks for the facts. I am not a huge trials follower but Dougie Lampkin obviously had a hand in designing / building a premium machine with Vertigo. Clearly both brands build quality machines and have innovated along the way. Much appreciated.

    kawasaki had a clunky but effective clicker style chain adjuster set up on the KDX's back in the 90's.
    The stark has refined the design, but did not originate the concept,,,

      Thanks for your comments. I'd be curious to know if you've ridden one yet or know something that we don't and where your information is drawn from - you seem pretty confident about your facts. Perhaps you might want to wait a month or two and watch Seb Tortelli race the Varg at a pro level as a wildcard at the last round of the Italian MX1 season and again as a wildcard at Hawstone Park in the UK on the 24th September 22 and then you'd be in an informed position to make a statement like that - or not.

      @@superwilcox9026 Just my opinion, but this seems like a pointless argument/discussion. Electric bikes are going to have to be raced ONLY against other electric bikes and not against gas bikes. You cant compare the 2. Maybe Red Bull can come up with a concept/ championship that caters just for electric bikes where all the current manufactures can compete with their own offerings. In my opinion Motocros, as a sport, totally lends itself to an all electric future. It just needs an overhaul and some out of the box thinking.

    • @RustMotoCollective

      @@nostalgicbaainaar6384 Hey chaps - I can appreciate everyone's views here and it stands to reason that opinions will differ. However, Stark Future expressly announced that they do NOT want to race against other electric bikes. Their aim is to race gas bikes and win at the highest level - and they seem determined to do just that. I had a very interesting interview with them while they were fixing my bike where we delved into quite a detailed conversation on the topic. I'll be posting the pod cast shortly and I'd love to see what your comments and opinions are. It is going to be interesting to see how Seb fares in the upcoming races too.
