Was wondering if you could do a cast on the ratios on the kiwi 2...I am still trying to work out ratios on my kiwi 2 and there is no tutorials out there🤷♀️
Hi! Sorry for the delay in responding. I will say that lace is possible on the Kiwi, but difficult. I would say it would take a lot of adjusting. I've spun a sport weight on mine, and that is the finest I've done. I'd be curious to know what you are able to do!
They have a lace weight kit for the standard kiwi flyer. You just swap out the whorl and drive band. You can spin lace, fingering, or a nice 3ply dk with it.

My first wheel is the Ladybug, but this was a close second for which to be the first!

Is this wheel ok for spinning lace? Because I’ve seen lace videos only on the traditional... 🤷🏻♂️

What did you use to finish the wheel?
I used a cherry wood stain! It turned out beautifully.
