Thanks for sharing! I love my Kiwi 2. The Super Flyer is on my wish list and hopefully I get one this year.

Great video thanks. I have the same wheel that my husband bought me for Christmas so I could learn to spin. It turns out it was the perfect choice! I love it. I am just wondering if I dare have a go at art yarns and whether the jumbo flyer would be a good buy and I think you’ve convinced me! 😊Roll on Christmas!

Hey Beverley! Congrats on the new wheel! That's super exciting. The jumbo flyer is amazing, and I love that you can then do both types of spinning on one wheel as opposed to having to own two separate wheels. You got this! (Tori's other channel)

My first wheel is the Ladybug, but this was a close second for which to be the first!

Was wondering if you could do a cast on the ratios on the kiwi 2...I am still trying to work out ratios on my kiwi 2 and there is no tutorials out there🤷‍♀️

What did you use to finish the wheel?

Is this wheel ok for spinning lace? Because I’ve seen lace videos only on the traditional... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi! Sorry for the delay in responding. I will say that lace is possible on the Kiwi, but difficult. I would say it would take a lot of adjusting. I've spun a sport weight on mine, and that is the finest I've done. I'd be curious to know what you are able to do!

They have a lace weight kit for the standard kiwi flyer. You just swap out the whorl and drive band. You can spin lace, fingering, or a nice 3ply dk with it.
