If you are using natural dye then you must keep the cloth in the dye bath overnight. If you are using synthetic dyes then 15 to 30 mins would be enough.
Why did you soak the fabric into water and vinegar please ? And i think you use naturat Dye. If i use the vat technic should i need to soak the fabric into the vinegar too ?
No need to soak fabric in vinegar solution if you are using VAT dye. Just immerse the fabric in water before vat dyeing so that dye penetrates evenly on fabric.
