I've watched this ten times in a row already. Your take on this song is incredible! I think you enjoyed playing it as much as we all enjoyed listening to it.
You’re picking some great songs to boogie-woogie-fy. You are really having fun playing this & it makes for great listening. Thank you Stefan - loved it
Johnny Johnson was the pianist for Chuck Berry. Johnson had a lot to do in writing Chuck Berry's songs. Berry never gave him credit and never paid him royalties. Read Keith Richards biography ''Life'' if you want to learn more about that. Later in life Johnny Johnson had to drive a school bus to make a living.
Uuuuuunglaublich... Ich wollt's schon vorschlagen, hatte das Gefühl, dass You Never Can Tell unbedingt mal Ulbricht-gecovert werden muss. Und nun kommt's. Schon morgen.
Absolutely without a doubt one of your finest performances every, Stefan! Brilliant composition - your right hand work is beyond incredible. I can just see Chuck Berry looking down at you playing this and saying "I like this kid, he gets me." Bill
Stefan, I just listened to 'You Never Can Tell' (your version). What a coincidence. It is a great piece of music. I will try to wait patiently for Friday. Again, thank you. Florida Fan. ( The version I watched was of you at the Bonn festival in July 2021.)
A wonderful composition!! I am a Chuck Berry fan from way back. What a fantastic job you have done. Stay safe. Thank you for such great music. Florida Fan
Yes, right you are! This riff is a mixture of 'Wolly Bully' and 'Wipe Out' an other Rock & Roll instrumental which was performed by many bands like 'Bill Black´s Comobo', 'The Ventures', 'The Surfaris', 'Bill Haley', and many more. 🙂
Your left hand is like magic! I cannot figure out what exactly you're doing. I can come up with bass lines that are similar but just does not have the sound I want. Any hints are appreciated!!

Chuck Berry got screwed on royalties too, Berry had to share with the Disc Jockey, Freed.
@@joeditta7792 I agree, but Berry never had to drive a schoolbus. Chuck Berry was a fantastic artist but he was also a very difficult person.
Stefan, that left hand pattern you use at 1:21 has a great "running" vibe to it. It really drives the song!
Bill
Yeah, da bin ich gespannt Stefan. Hab diesen auch gespielt und er ist mein „Best Seller“ in meinem Channel 🙏😁 Grüsse von Robert 👋🏻🇨🇭
amazing!!
Sparkling and joyful as usual!

2:32 this sequence reminds me of Woolly Bully. If not can you tell me where did you get that motive? Nice playing!❤️

I play it every time a little bit different
Hi do you sell your arrangements on musicnotes or some website? I would love to try it!
Take a look here: boogie-night.jimdo.com/noten-sheet-music/
do you have sheet music for this arrangement?
No I don’t have. Sorry!
laissez le bon temps rouler!
😊
I think you actually improved this song! I like your version better than the original. 🎹

Das war schon ganz gut. Natürlich nicht so gut wie Stephen Bergmeister von The Presley Family, aber das ist ja klar weil der ist ja auch aus Bayern.
🕶🧤🪇
Excellent piano player but it's a rock song not enough boogie in it,listen to the original recording that's how the piano should be played.
Not sure what you mean. The rhythm he plays with is true to the original to my ears. He improvises a bit but sticks to the style.
In den ersten 20 Sek schon 10 falsche Töne?! Was soll der Mist. Warum spielst du immer an der selben Stelle falsche Töne?! Machts nicht besser....
