Right? This and Gone Away both feel so much more impactful in my 30s than they did when I was younger. Funny, since it's usually the opposite with pop-punk bands (save for Green Day's Longview, which is too damn real when quarantining, haha).

And yo- that’s awesome. I don’t know if I would be thrilled to really get to meet or hang out with some of the bands and artists that I really love- I’m realistic and I know that while the art can be beautiful and can really capture something in you, it doesn’t always mean the artist behind it is going to be anything like you’d expect or imagine. Sometimes it’s nicer to not have our bubbles burst.

What a tremendous nostalgia it gives me to listen to this song because it takes me back to my high school years in the late 90s and that video is brutal. I always loved the sound of this band

My favorite Offspring song is "Gone Away". His vocals in the song reflect the pain he feels. This song I relate to even more so since my husband passed. Because I feel that so much.

Looking forward to more Offspring reactions! They're a fantastic band.
As always, here's a list of tunes for you to check out:
    "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid"
    "Want You Bad"
"Dividing By Zero/Slim Pickens Does The Right Thing And Rides The Bomb To Hell"
    "I Choose"
    "The Meaning of Life"
    "Dirty Magic"
As I'm sure you've seen in the comments they have an extensive library, so after a few more reactions, I'll throw a few more your way.
Keep up the great vids. Always a treat to watch.

If you’re liking the punk rock vibe, check out the previous recommendations I made (Bad Brains), and also The Dead Kennedys’ “Kill the Poor”. Their lyrics were known for being sarcastic and satirical in tone. I feel like the song itself has stayed pretty relevant despite being close to 40 years old.

It is a deep message. He's singing about the kids he knew and grew up with in his hometown. After moving away and going back to his hometown much later after he was grown, he found out "The Kids Weren't Alright".

Although I don't remember any specific reference in this song to it, the name is a call back to a classic rock band. The Who- the kids are alright.

The song is about how we all used to have such big dreams as kids and the fact that 99% of dreams don’t work out and life takes over and reality hits. He is just talking about the most extreme cases because if you think about it in a graduating class of 200-700 kids even though it’s a small portion statistically still many of them end early and tragically.

Hello Mr. Video . Brilliant reaction to one of my all time favorite song. It's brilliant how you caught that the message of the song is serious by the way he is looking at us in the video. I always worried about mariguana becoming legal and when you put the weed down was absolutely brilliant how you actually are among those who actually have the capacity to listen.Thank you for your reaction .😊
