real question, but why i see so often people only laying one toxic spike when they could have 2? it's because normal poison is better than toxic in some way, or because the extra turn to put a second tspike isn't worth the upgrade?
With normal poison, it’s 12% damage per turn. With toxic poison, it starts at 6%, then next turn 12%, and so on. So it takes 3 turns for toxic poison to catch up with regular poison’s damage. Every time a Pokémon switches out, the toxic poison increase restarts
