Guy thank u for the video, im planning to visit for summer holiday, can swim by the private beach of the hotel or not? and whats the name of the last beach you've shown? Thank u! Great vid!
@@SomethingToRemember Thank u cause i was looking at yr vid others and hotels picture, nobody seems to swim in the private beaches of the hotels, since the many restricted areas i've dealt with i was a little worried. Thank you for the info and content!
First of all, this video was *gorgeously* filmed. But yeah, I totally agree with you. The answer is quite solidly "no", unless you live in China and don't have the opportunity to go to other places in SEA *right now* because of COVID. lol Without COVID, as a foreigner living in Beijing, if I'm going to travel that far to enjoy a beach, it's better to just stay on the plane an extra hour or two to get to Thailand or Vietnam. Culturally, naturally, historically, and food-wise Sanya offers criminally little compared to the other destination vacations within the region.
I agree. I live and work here, and love going to Sanya, but I am confined to China. Given the choice, I would go to Vietnam, Thailand, even try out Cambodia and Myanmar. I am happy with Sanya because it is the only girl in town.
Yeah, we’ve heard Canada is pretty strict with covid now. But a lot of places in China are under lockdown as well and we don’t have opportunities to travel..
you're trying to find western food in china, in an island that doesn't have a lot of western tourists (no, russians are not western). of course it's not going to be plentiful when compared to other SEA destinations that are more established. why not try the local cuisine?
I guess everyone has different preferences, and we don’t really like Chinese food😅we are not traveling, but live in China here so we are really happy to have some western options
@@SomethingToRemember next time please go to sea beach cities since you are so used to being spoiled by those western sl@ves in thai, Vietnam etc but nah not happening in China. Sorry
It's bizarrely unusual to see Chinese people swimming anywhere or even talking about swimming - and sadly almost all RUclipsrs massively over-focus on eating and drinking aka stuffing their bellies.. Paul G
Thanks for watching! Let us know if you found this video useful ☺️
Thanks for great video. Subscribed at your channel and can you give address of your hotel? Where did you book? Thanks

Wow, what a great video guys. Looking forward to seeing more of your travels 😍😁👍
Thank you very much!
After the pandemic, the beaches become cleaner and cleaner.
I don’t know how it was before, but there is still some plastic
If you have kids then Sanya its amazing! very safe, clean and more family oriented compared to the SE asia
Interesting! 😊
excellent video! thanks for the pointers, honesty and humor!
Thank you very much😍
Are there sports activities like beach volleyball?
Yes, there are! Mostly in Dadonghai and Xiaodonghai. Yalong bay is massive, so it must be there as well😅
there's a ton of activities. Chinese dont like to go into the water so theres this kind of activities instead.

Thank you very much! Yes, of course, but sometimes there are special areas for that. The last one is Yalong bay 亚龙湾

if you have kids...then def Sanya its top! very chill, clean and safe. but that is my case
@@havencat9337 Now that I think about it, that’s really true. The majority of people I know who visit Sanya every year have kids.
Top stuff guys, unreal 👏👏👏👏
Thanks Kevin! 🥦❤️

I envy your life in China. We are stuck in Covid Canada. Toronto is minus 8 degrees celsius today.

Is the water temperature comfortable year round and were all of the beaches unswimmable?
Hey, we haven’t been there in winter, but our friends keep coming back in winter months. What do you mean “unswimmable”? You can swim, no problem😅
@@SomethingToRemember thanks for the info. Someone was saying the water is too shallow to swim.
Not at all☺️
if anything winter its the best time. outside right now in end of november its 27-30 degree and the water its nice. so yea...come in the winter.
@@havencat9337 thanks for the heads up.
You are a very harmonious couple.
Thank you😊🥰
China is also a western country, and there are western scenic spots and plants
