    Nice, love the sound of your bridges, I've resorted to blocking mine off with a small piece of the appropriate size computer component material "Gap Pad". It works perfect for banging the he'll out of it and still getting a resonant tight frequency for recording. But that sounds great for live apps, since live I've got no problem floating.

I put the outer springs straight and loosened the spring screws and it helps a bit. But it’s strange there aren’t any instructions to get?

    Screw tone sucking graphite nuts - unless you can get Modulus (good luck). Just have a professionally done bone nut. Great work again Trev. I wish he would bring back his old original roller nut. They were better than an LSR which I have now, I know, I had one. They were brass and the LSR is zinc - big difference. Through the 70's 80's and 90's Trevor had all kinds of clever stuff on the market, not just tremolos. Might have to get some of these.

  • @Rico_G

    A quick drop-d is impossible by nature with any floating trem. I like this design, locking the string at the saddle and the tuner with the only binding concern being the nut. Good trade-off for dispensing with the Floyd's fine tuners which I've always hated.

    • @Rico_G
      @Rico_G 5 лет назад

      @MarHeNin3ty - Fine. I will restate my original point as a quick drop-d is impossible by nature with any floating trem unless equipped with an aftermarket accessory. :) Tremmory looks cool. Such systems have been around since the 80's but required additional parts to be screwed in the spring cavity. I like that Tremmory just simply replaces a spring. Very smart! Thanks for the heads up.

      Bart van Schuylenburg I mean.... cool... but the fact that they’re not like that anymore and I couldn’t reliably source ones from the 90s now, I’ll stick with the extended sustain block haha

      aleksander i agree. But i still don’t understand why they left the design of the VS100V. It was a genius design that worked with two studs as well as 6 screws and had a better pop-in-arm slot and was made from the hardest steel there is.

    Wilkinson tremolo are excellent they really have a lot of sustain tuning is simply no issue. Good strong steel very high quality! I bought one installed it myself on guitar that had a fake junk Floyd Rose. Wilkerson locking tremolo double locking.i love Floyd Rose but I'm not in love with all the spin off fakes out there. Wilkenson are just as good. As any locking system out there. Really flashy chrome also and black hardware mixture. It made my hundred and fifty dollar guitar sound like a 600.00 guitar. The stratocaster style tremolo are called a " fulcrum" style tremolo bridge. That Trever Wilkinson really is a great guitar bridge scientist I would have to say.

      It is actually quite the opposite. Tunning stability problems usually come from the G and low E strings due to them having less tension and shifting over the saddle.
      Use this with a graphtech nut vs a fender vintage trem with a locking nut and you will see the results.
