- Directed and edited by Jennifer Lees for Wilkinson Direct. This video shows the effectiveness of the WLS130 self tuning saddles on a Gotoh plate and block. You will be able to compare how well the guitar stays in tune after the WLS130 saddles have be swapped out and replaces the Gotoh saddles.

Excellent demo! Really shows how effective the new Wilkinson locking saddles are, can't wait to get them myself. I already own a couple of Wilkinson parts including a WVPC Vibrato unit and it's a great improvement for my strat.
Love the video, I hope there are more "Trev's Shed" videos in the future since he's one of my guitar "heros" as well actually (even though he's not know as a 'player' lol)

Thank you for the video. Maybe I'm missing something, but the tuning stability seemed about the same between the two sets of saddles. Each set had a few strings still in tune and a few which were fairly out of tolerance. Not trying to be negative, just my observation. Have I missed something?

pretty damn good for all the bar dives. Try this on any other tremolo and then check your tuning.

Hi guys,
I'm interested in replacing my saddles on my Gotoh 510TS-SF1 (bent steel saddles) and/or Wilkinson VS100N (block saddles) with the WLS130 saddles, but I've read on forums that they may not fit? Also any chance in the future that the saddle only version will not have the part number graphic on it...I'm really not the biggest fan of that!

K Das Yeah, would be much better without the graphic on the top side. Although I don’t think it’ll be visible (specially when playing) as the picture posted on these forums, considering that’s a extreme closeup.

Seems as if this is a CHARVEL PRO-MOD DK24 HH 2PT, Sam is playing? If yes, it must be the Gotoh 510, I guess. Which WLS130 saddles did you put onto the trem block? It's a pitty that informatin is hard to find. Thanx in advance
Does it work just as well as a floyd for wammy bar tricks and for keeping in tune? Or is a floyd better for that?

I bought a set for my customer builds and offer it as a alt order. They are a bit pricey for saddles though @ 100 plus shipped. I would like to see these at a lower price for your customers and a faster shipping time frame OR keep these in stock for U.S customers at a dealer of your choice. I use the Gotoh 510 tremolo and they retro fit nicely just to expensive for saddles imo
So now we are approaching 1 month without these saddles on offer at the Wilkinson Reverb Store... still not convinced that Wilkinson has production difficulties? This is a sad situation as these are wonderful saddles.
Have you emailed Wilkinson to ask about the availability as you will be catered for my friend as you can imagine in these times stock comes in and goes out quick as the product is in such high demand if you need the product for a certain date or for a certain guitar please contact Wilkinson and you will always get an answer , sorry it has taken me a week to answer you as I was not notified off your comment as it is on JL’s page not mine hope you are ok and as I say we are always around to answer your questions.
Do these work on 6 screw bridges?

Hi they should fit on any strat type plate if you contact Wilkinson at there reverb shop they can advise if you give them details of your bridge they will advise you .

These saddles are constant out of stock...Trev has production difficulties. Are the tolerances maybe to tight?
I sure you it’s not they are always out of stock the demand for the saddles is high so when there in they are in and there are always more on the way .
If you are struggling to get the saddles you can place your order and as soon as the saddles are in you will be sent them straight away , or why not look at the full vibrato unit that comes with either a standard sized block or now with a compact block for guitars like the charvel

@@Samuelclees I am a manufacturer and I know how much I need to produce to have enough stock looking at Customer demand. I see how tight tolerances are with these saddle . This is 100% a case of production difficulties or else Trev would have had enough in stock. I sincerely hope he will find a way to solve them

dont buy them they suck ! the first 2 sets I bought were good but the quality is shit now for some reason the screws strip and they break strings never again will I use these damn things

@@johnwade3476 thank you for taking the time to do a write-up. This is the first piece of bad input I've heard on these. I don't doubt you, of course, but I would need more than one person with bad experience for me to stay away. They're not that expensive so I'll give them a try.
