Fire TV's: Can't Turn on TV Speakers? Grayed Out? FIXED!

I show you how to fix Fire TV's that has TV speaker grayed out so you cannot turn it on. (This goes for the Insignia Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV, Toshiba Fire TV, Pioneer Fire TV, etc. Hope this helps.

U have my exact issue but there R no devices connected... It happened after I was using headphones thro the headphones jack... Once I removed them the speakers stayed off and greyed out... I can now only use TV via headphone jack or Bluetooth... It's driving me nuts, appreciate any suggestions...thnx

Dude. I was getting so pissed that it was grayed out. This worked perfectly. And completely fixed my problem. I have an old BT head phones the battery case ran out of juice so they turned on and connected. Crazy.

Thank you for your video. My Audio settings are greyed out and I DON"T have any Bluetooth audio devices connected. Any thoughts on other things I can do? I've seen others with the same question but no answers yet.

I also found that I had no Bluetooth devices connected but what I had done was set up Home Cinema to connect to Echo Pop. Once I removed the Pop TV speaker showed up. You need to go on Home Cinema after choosing Display and Audio and then remove the speaker you have connected to

Wired headphones were plugged into the Amazon Fire TV, now when I unplug the wired headphones the tv speakers have no sound. When I go in settings, unable to activate the speakers. I can only add Bluetooth speakers or wired headphones for sound.
