Just change your audio settings from hdmi to dolby and you are all set to go. It took me a while to figure it out but after doing this it seems to be the main cause for poor sound quality for a lot of people with the amazon fire stick 4k max. Hope this helps people.

Thank you so much… Step #3 aka clearing the cache worked. It was tedious but it did the trick. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I thought it was just a feature of Amazon Firestick to lag, have distorted audio, and mismatched audio and video. Thumbs up for you👍

My sound is normal when using the streaming/internet apps; but when I turn on the antenna tv channels the sound is so low unless I put the volume super high… What can I do??

I tried all the steps including factory reset. Still no sound. I'm at this for a week now.
Funny - not sure what the problem was. The sound was at 100 and barely audible so came on here to find out how to fix sound problems - found this video and the only thing I did that you said was restart the TV. Sound came blasting on at 100 - had to rush to turn it down. I don't know if this was the solution - lol, turning off the TV and turning it back on, but I guess I can give that to you. Not sure what happened with the sound in the first place - was playing fine earlier and then the sound just dropped. But ...THANKS.....

I'm having issues as well. I have to unplug my earc soundbar everytime I turn the tv back on. It's pretty annoying!!

Wired headphones were plugged into the Amazon Fire TV, now when I unplug the wired headphones the tv speakers have no sound. When I go in settings, unable to activate the speakers. I can only add Bluetooth speakers or wired headphones for sound.
I found a fix that might work for someone, it might have just been a fluke that it started working when i did this but maybe not? Instead of connecting bluetooth and then going straight to your media and hitting play. Connect device, then go to the audio sync menu, just until it starts making the ding noise and then go back to your media without doing anything and play it, if that doesn't work, then try the exact same thing but before going to the audio sync menu try going to the audio troubleshooting page for a few seconds. If that doesn't work for anyone maybe it was a fluke, but maybe not. Oh I also changed PCM audio to "best available", so maybe it was that.
I don't have a smart TV. this is happending with my firestick. it's an older version. could that be the issue?
My audio and video are not working in harmony! The video gets ahead of the audio. It’s happening while using LiveNetV.
If the volume is really low when watching a movie or tv show, I usually hit the prime button.
Then click on continue watching and that usually will fix it. Sometimes it takes a few times.
What if the sound range is horrible, like if I put it on 1 volume it’s too quiet but on 2 volume it’s too loud
None worked for me, it's when I push guide, change channels have no sound. I have to turn tv off back on then I have sound. I've had tv for a couple of weeks the issue just started.

My Toshiba fire TV audio problem- random max volume. Anybody else have this? I Can't figure out why, but will do all these steps in this video anyway
For me youtube audio is too low. if i reset to factory it works for a day or two then again youtube goes low volume. 100% volume on youtube is like 10% of actual volume. will be shocked if i change to some other app as it will blast the room suddenly

They problem I am facing is vocals are way too low and music is so loud.. While watching a serial on setup box vocals are clear music is low. But same volume on fire stick same show is opposite vocals low music is bomb basting tired of lowering vol all the time. Please help

@@kiran2176 hey Kiran. The best you can do is go to settings - display & audio - Audio - surround sound set it to PCM
AND after that go to advanced audio option right below surround sound - dialogue enhancer set it to OFF

Still I have sound problem but not that bad. Its manageable... Hope it works for you.. Bhagwan karay iska koi solution aae which really works like settop box sound..
@@kiran2176 and set amazon prime video sound to dolby digital it's more crisp. There is option on amazon player to select audio type.
@@itkk5522 yes bro i tried all the settings available in the fire stick and the vocals were still sounding low. Then I tweaked some audio settings in the tv itself, now it's better than before but not the best.... Thanks for replying brother.... Much appreciated 👍👍

Is it ur remote? If so spam all the buttons like crazy then test again. Also take out batteries and reinsert them.

I get delays watching RUclips with fire tv, using bluetooth headphones( crusher evo). Tried everything but still delays if i forward a video slightly. Delay adjuster does nothing. Have to turn headphones off and on again, but its ok for a while then does it again. Un paired it, cleared caches but still happens on youtube. Works fine on tv, but delays in RUclips app.
