Yep.. I am in Georgia.. Gas this morning at our local station was $2.59 per gallon. A half tank of gas cost me $30 bucks. Wasn't happy about that but thankful that I could at least get some nonetheless.....
Lol... All my cars are filled up plus about 30 gallons in gas cans. Every pump at the big gas stations were full and cars pulling in as others leaving until 1 am. The media already put out the word and peeps were out in hoards.
I filled the car which holds 11 gallons Tues @ $2.05, today,Thurs, it was $2.46 and the trailblazer holds 20gal, I had just over a 1/4 tank and it took $42 to fill but I think a lot of the panic is caused by the panic.
Gas prices jumped $.40 to $.50 per gallon here in Indiana two days ago. Current prices at some stations here are $2.69/gallon at the moment.

They say the largest refinery will be shut down for about 2 weeks
I was there I guess right when word was getting out and people were already getting antsy.
Most stations are sold out now and I'm not far from you
