I think I prefer the minimalistic mods because their mostly passive and don't involve spending significant amounts of time in menus.

I can see how most people would have a negative view towards minimalistic mods. I do think the more "overpowered" overhaul mods are more popular because most people have been playing the game for years and years, and just want to change the game dramatically. However, the "minimalistic" mods I think are for those who, yeah may have played the game once or twice and still want to mod, but don't want to stray too farm from vanilla. For this Morning star, I think my favorite passive is the kahjiit's. It sounds fun just to claw a bandit to death.
Currently I am using the minimalistic mods because I just wanted a more chill Skyrim this time around. However, in a new playthrough, I may switch to the big mods. I am currently planning a character biased around the "skyrims got talent mod". Pretty much the mod allows you to play instruments in game, and it has a progression system... its more of a role player mod rather than a new exciting bard combat mod.. but, I plan to wear normal clothing, and use the steed stone for a movement buff so I am mobile enough in battle. I plan to only fight when I absolutely need to, the majority of my damage will actually come from my tank follower beating on the enemies while I am buffing them in the background. It may or may not work as an actual playstyle, but its fun to try.
Sorry to ramble on lol... Great video!

Oh, no worries :) It's fun to see all the different playstyles and modding tastes.
I wonder if anyone has ever taking the werewolf kill animations and given them to a Kahjit character? That would feel awful satisfying if you were going unarmed...

@@Sethiroth_Gaming that would be really cool, it would also be cool if there was a mod to allow kahjiits to turn into wereloins, or argonians to become werecrocodiles … which are actually lore friendly to elder scrolls.

Hi, I Love your in depth showcases. Could you please make a review of the new Enais combat mod - Valravn? It has just dropped and it seems a really good replacement for smilodon and wildcat because or its depth while also being script free and relying on skyrim realistic style combat.

Ordinator has a branch for unarmed damage. In a Rat Raw (riften) you can pick up an enchantment for unarmed attack.

Redguard in vid was running not sprinting. I bet sprinting 30% faster is superfast. I wonder if that stacks with the steed stone and/or longstride. Don't really need a horse but I never use horses anyway. 75% poison resistance is very good too. The Breton got ripped off in my opinion as the 15% dragonskin is quite a low percentage and the 25% resist has not increased over vanilla. Kajiit 10% movement speed is really good and the nighteye is useful also. Thanks for the showcase !

I like this mod. I hate once a day racial characteristics. I always play a Nord, if a fighter and a Breton if a mage or fighter mage. Thumbs up!

Same feelings here :) Once a day features get used so rarely, I forget they're there by the time they reload.

Their histborn feature can be nice if you've got a LOT of armor / magic defense. The rest is flavoring I guess.
