Hotfix 22 went live just now. Almost no changes, but this one line is pretty hilarious with context: Fixed a bug causing you to get stuck in combat with the enemies on top of Moonrise Towers if you found a way to sneak into the Mindflayer Colony.
12:30 To your defense, the backpack glitch is actually even easier to do now, so if anything, you were just using a totally legit strategy before they 'fixed' the mistake prevent all players from having free stuff from the merchants. ;)
This entire video is incredible but for some reason the part that made me laugh the hardest was trapping the Emperor behind several sofas so that he won't follow you up to the next area. It's like those pictures where people surround their dog with soda cans and the dog can't figure out how to step over them
"the action economy is kinda rough these days" I gotta remember that one also gg, I'm very surprised you didn't went for the Gale bomb route to finish act III
I almost did when my panther thing failed lol, but I really wanted to show off that method of how to invis up the brain still. So I powered through. Had a ton of fun with this playthrough though. For sure was the most fun of any run I did.
That little tip using the globe of invulnerability to prevent platforms from being destroyed just saved my honor mode run, so thank you! Amazing video as always! I genuinely can’t even imagine the strategizing involved in a run like this. Well done!
@@ProxyGateTactician I usually use the globe for opening the portal so I never even considered using it during the fight with the brain. I also would have never thought the globe would prevent the platforms from disintegrating but I suppose it does make sense.

I never thought globe of invulnerability would work because I thought it would destroy the platform outside aswell lol. DoS2 has a much better soundtrack for videos imo, the BG3 music often goes too hard. Both are great though

The Zaith’isk’s stat hit is not permanent, it can be solved very easily. Simply have Lae’zel use a tadpole (any tadpole power will do) and it goes away

I know it's been several months, but you can cheese the undead in the mountain pass with Sanctuary. They all have single target attacks so can do nothing but sit there and watch as you run towards act 2
I suppose I usually have her hooked up with the Everburn Sword already by then. I also missed the part where you got her before the Creche, honestly the better way to go (didn't know this happens tbh)
@@dataraxia3520 Yea if you don't free her you can meet her at the Gith patrol (but if u long rest she dies there). You can find her in the mountain pass, and if you went straight to act 2 from gymforge then you will find her corpse in the shadow cursed lands.
In baseline reality, all your videos were immediately discarded as terrible ideas. But we live in the wacky, messed up alternative timeline where you did it anyway, and for once I'm glad we do.
I actually tried this challenge,and I’m telling you Bard (since talking isn’t technically an action) Ranger( for all the different arrow in the game) Monk ( for all its unique classes) duergar rogue with different invisibilities Carried But the ones that carried and surprised me were Druid since all the animals are different and a Druid spore/necromancer wizard/necro cretic and necromancer of thay to team up with ranger and summon a bunch of summons who can do a lot of damage if they take up your whole screen and lag your PS😭 But what would win the battle is the fact I was a dark urge so I used power word kill on the brain after using my fist ever throw with my dwarf and its dwarfen thrower 3 unique arrows and all of the mindflayer abilities given to Orpheus
The enemies being able to attach you through your sanctuary spell in the section right before the brain stem drove me absolutely crazy on my honor mode run. Thought I was smart using Sanctuary and then greater invisibility to just walk passed everyone, nope. Attacked over and over, unable to even move because of that stupid phantasm spell. It absolutely has to be a bug
If it was just the brain mobs I could maybe understand, but phantasmal killer made no sense. Why can they cast that and root us? It triggered me too so much
I’d like to think all of these challenge videos stemmed from 100 day challenge videos which stemmed from LukeTheNotable. This type of content is amazing
theres still a very easy trader glitch, open a container and shift click drag everything into your inventory making sure to have a cheap item be the last thing selected and boom infinite money (the trader gets all the money for the items and you get all the items so you just sell back and forth)
The gold exploit still works. You just need to move stuff from a vendor pouch to a pouch in your characters inventory. It will take some~ gold, but you overall net gain. It just goes all into your inventory so you need to exit out and put it all back into a pouch.

You missed an easy cheese for this challenge. Getting the holy lance helm, getting your ac to 30ish and letting all your enemies kill themselves without spending a single action.

11:50 at level 7 you can upcast witchbolt and use a bottle of water to one shot Myrkul using the tempest cleric destructive wrath ability and the tadpole luck of the far realms ability. Now would it have been a better option, i dont know, i just know that i one turned myrkul at level 7 on honour mode usng non exploitative means and it felt pretty darn good.
Does that invisible bug needs the emperor? Wouldn’t it be easier to go the prince route since Orpheus is a full on mindflayer with access to all mind flayer ability unlike the handicap balduran? But I suppose it doesn’t matter that much since there isn’t much combat left by skipping most of it…
at around 17:40 you used dismiss wild shape, which showed up in the combat log, but i didnt see your action counter go up. did you just decide not to count it because it doesnt take an action or bonus action? maybe you already clarified in the video and i didnt hear, so sorry if that it what happened
Yeah I guess I could have counted it, but It isn't technically an action. I don't think I ever used another dismiss wildshape cast in the run anyways. I got knocked out automatically in combat a bunch of times, and a few other times you can long rest and it auto-drops the form.
No I haven’t done any in honour mode because I often need to get B-Roll or other stuff for my scenes and having no old saves would really suck. I’m excited the next patch will add honour mode boss abilities that I can use though while reloading still
Okay, so after this video and your _Only One's_ video I have to ask... can you beat Baldurs Gate with only Level 1 Characters? I know that it would be impossible for me, but for you... I wouldn't be surprised if you manage it somehow 😂
That one has been done by a few creators already, so I probably won't attempt it unless I found some additional interesting spin on it. For sure it's a great idea though and I wish I got there first lol I've got a new unique idea for my next one already and hoping I can make it entertaining still as it's still a similiar theme, but a totally new idea as far as BG3 content goes.

Can't you just unchain pets/summons from the original character's frame and they won't move unless you directly control them?

You're telling me, if you play on Honour mode you don't even get exchangeable actions in the mind sanctuary. The cost of actions is too damn high!

No problem! I never enter that area without a Glove of Invuln scroll. Just makes the 5 turn limit a lot less stressful

I was so close to losing my honour mode run to the elevator glitch. All three companions died except for one
Mine fell inside the rock and died but hit every saving roll so he became stuck. I couldnt reach him and he would never die

If you convince the tieflings that Lae'zel is too dangerous, they'll free her for you. Then you just let NPC Lae'zel kill the tieflings

You should have gone dark urge, it gives you the slayer form, and an instant death below 100 health ability, which could have been useful

No I haven’t done any in honour mode because I often need to get B-Roll or other stuff for my scenes and having no old saves would really suck. I’m excited the next patch will add honour mode boss abilities that I can use though while reloading still

That one has been done by a few creators already, so I probably won't attempt it unless I found some additional interesting spin on it. For sure it's a great idea though and I wish I got there first lol
I've got a new unique idea for my next one already and hoping I can make it entertaining still as it's still a similiar theme, but a totally new idea as far as BG3 content goes.
