Nirvana is the band that literally raised me. Thanks to them, I am who I am now. From the very first song I heard their perform, I understood: this is what I was looking for. Kurt pulled me out of depression with his texts, conveying all my thoughts. Almost all the songs of this band mean a lot to me. There is no need to go far for examples: Serve The Servants, Pennyroyal Tea, Dumb, Heart-Shaped Box, Sappy, and much, much more. A year and a half ago I bought my first acoustic NN guitar, for training. Around the same time I found your channel, and I was very attracted to the theme of Kurt Cobain guitars, then I clearly realized that I needed this tone, because it is fascinating, flawless. On the record, sometimes you couldn't hear what you could hear in your videos. Last summer, I purchased my first Mustang, a 1972 Tomson Splendor Mustang, which gave me more motivation in pursuit of the Nirvana tone. Why do I need a SansAmp GT2? In my desires to repeat the soulful songs of my favorite band, sitting on the balcony, delighting both my ears and the ears of others. In the future, I plan to purchase a 1967 Mosrite Morales. I want to experiment with tone, and find my ideal.
Good luck in replenishing the collection!

Man kurt and nirvana saved me from depression when I was 8 or 9 and made me feel tough enough to tell people what I was dealing with. Now I'm 16 in high-school and nirvana is still my saviors! Sadly I don't even have an amp or guitar anymore because my family sold it for food (no in bloom reference meant) but yeah

What should i say. As a teen in the 90s i completely fell in love with their album bleach. I loved those powerful riffs and crunchy tones. Since then i would go nearly to every show that was in the region of belgium. Because of kurt i would become a guitar player myself. Trying to recreate every nirvana tone i could possibly find. A SansAmp would be a real treat to my collection. Cheers!

Nirvana or I should say Kurt got me into really listening to music and playing guitar, I remember last year in school I played lounge act for a project in my guitar class and got a 100. And as well Krist Novoselic got me into bass, I was re listening to Nevermind all the way through the first time and I heard Lounge Act's intro and was hooked because it was just so groovy. Also Dave Grohl is also the reason I want play drums because he wasn't the most technical musician but he always could be heard beating his drums. Nirvana and especially was the reason I wanted to start making music because his interviews where he said he play with chopsticks and pillows or the one where he said all you need is good music and a big heart and you'll be fine. Lastly I just wanted to say I really appreciate your Nirvana videos there always well executed and thought out.

I am a nirvana enthusiast. I have collected any and every article of music and writing I have come across. I have been playing guitar for 10 years and to this day, solely focus on recreating nirvana tones. Your channel, along with Aaron Rash’s have been the most helpful and inspiring channels I follow on RUclips. I myself have a jag-stang (2022 reissue) that I have put a jb-sh4 in and slapped some 10-52 Hague strings on. I have also locked down the vibrato system. I’ve been playing with a dad-2 for a year and it’s my only form of distortion. I have been looking far and wide for a sansamp classic (even the reissue would do), but have had no luck in any local shops. What I have come across was a sansamp GT2 classic, and I absolutely LOVED it. The next day when I went to get it after I got paid, it was gone. I live in Wisconsin and have had no luck finding any near me since. I have also been supporting myself and my girlfriend while she has been in school all year so funds have been tight, and finding another reasonably priced sansamp pedal has been tough. I would be so appreciative of this pedal, you have no idea 🥹 my favorite gear of yours would have to be the small clone that is modded to original specs, the sansamp classic, the quad reverb you found at a pawn shop for $450 (unbelievable find, dude ) and your 2021 jag stang or the custom Jaguar.

Hey jq! The reason I want the sansamp is because I make my own music and I saw the video you did on the sansamps and I really like the sound of the gt2. I got into Nirvana around a year ago and I set out on a quest to find how to make their tone and then I found your channel. You make amazing content and you inspired me to really try to get Kurts tone on my guitar. I have mastered a couple of live shows and I am continuing to recreate Kurts tone and you have helped a ton. Please keep up the amazing content and I hope you're having a good day!

I got into Nirvana as soon as I started playing electric guitar, but never gave any thought to tone or anything like that. Now, I've been super interested in channels like yours, Aaron Rash, Nirvanaguitars etc. I love the adventures of trying to perfect that gorgeous tone, especially when it comes to In Utero. The SansAmp GT2 is my absolute dream pedal, and I could really use it, especially after my DS1 died a couple weeks back.

I’m 16 and I had always heard about Nirvana as I’ve grown up. Whether that’s teen spirit blasting from my dads radio or my friends picking up a guitar and playing come as you are at a guitar center. But I never really got into it until about a year ago. I had just gotten through a rough breakup and on a whim listened through Nevermind and it changed my life. Guitar went from an on and off hobby to one of my main focuses. Nirvana has lead me to annoy the crap out of my family by turning my crappy fender frontman to its max. Nirvana has lead me to break my first string by banging out drain you jumping up and down in my bedroom. And Nirvana has also lead me to channels like you which have deepened my knowledge about guitars (or maybe just Kurt’s) so much. But at this point I think my amps gain knob is getting a little tired. My Squier strat looks a little worse for ware but still rocks out. Working my job as a hostess downtown it would likely take me 5 years to save up enough to get such a gnarly pedal, so you’d really be helping out. Whether I get it or not have a good one man, keep doing your thing and thanks for all the sick videos.

The sansamp can get me close to the In Utero tone which i really like. These are the songs i really wanna get the tone off: I hate myself and want to die, Rape me and Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle. Also nice collection! My favorite guitar you have is probably also the competition mustang.

My mom bought me a nirvana tee and I knew i had to look into the band and I loved it. Kurt changed the way I saw music. I started playing guitar 2 and a half years. I still have a lot to learn but the main reason I started to play was because of that band. I always wanted to experiment with the 1993 Japan Mustang modified because when I watched the live and loud I loved it so much. i really love nirvana because i find kurt and some of the songs relatable, it feels like listening to music based on me and i really love the angst and the distorted tones, i've been trying to get nirvana sounds with a blackstar idcore 10 and a squier vm jag, i don't have any pedals and the amp's overdrive sounds like shit, i'm on a very low budget and i'd really appreciate the pedal, i've been watching your and other youtubers' content (like aaron rash and nirvanaguitars) and i have to say i really really love the way you edit and play on your videos, your tones are almost always spot on too, i'm in a small band so i'd use the pedal not only for nirvana tones but overall playing in the band, i really love the tone of the pedal. i really love nirvana though (up to listening their songs everyday). marigold and swap meet are my fav songs.
edit: honorable mention for nirvana being the reason i got into guitar and saving me from almost commiting suicide (depression related).

Being from a rural part of Texas there was never really much to do. Back in 2015 I got my first guitar and I was in love! I was learning as many chords and songs as possible, I practiced a minimum of two hours each day. After about a year of playing I discovered Nirvana and I was awestruck. Never had I ever listened to a band that really resembled what kind of style/tone that I was really going for. After learning some nirvana songs I saved some money to buy my first pedal, the DS-1. Flash forward a few years I added on to my guitar/ pedal collection, but ive found myself in bit of a predicament. Ive pondered around the idea of starting a Nirvana tribute but I cant get the correct In Utero distortion tone. I think that the Sans Amp would help fill the void that Ive been having trouble filling. Thanks for reading and keep up the great work!

Kurt's distorted tone was probably the first ever guitar tone that really got me into electric guitar and launched my passion for the instrument. And though I've moved on to heavier and more experimental genres, Kurt's sound in In Utero remains in my head and oftentimes captures what I want compared to the conventional sounds of metal and heavier music. That and his songwriting, while not out of the world in technique or other measures, is still unmatched even almost 30 years after his death. The sound of a Sansamp pushing an old Mesa will always stick with me as one of the triggers that pushed me into electric guitar. Plus it's a sweet pedal and I already have a small clone

Congrats on the 5k and sorry for my bad english! I've searched an Sansamp because i've always liked the In Utero live tone, especially the tone for the Studio version of Frances Farmer will have her revenge on Seattle - the Sansamp in this song has raw and even fuzzy sound, that I always was intrigued and obsessed by it. I've come across an Sansamp Classic to buy but it's to expensive in my country - due to bad economy and enormous amounts of taxes and inflation. For me, the Sansamp would be a bless and a greet experiment tool - explores it's configurations and infinite combinations to produce more sounds.

I absolutely love the Samsamp. The tone on I Hate Myself And Want To Die is by far my favorite example. I personally would like the Samsamp because In Utero is my favorite Nirvana album, and The tones you can get with are some of the best crunchy distortions I have ever heard.

Inspite of being a guitar player for years, I never had a pedal or anything that could give me a good distortion, using only the amp´s distortion. I´m really into Nirvana for some time now and cant stop playing, im feeling everyday more inspired by Nirvana and their sound. And i would like it very much if i was the picked one for this giveway. Great guitars man, great channel, great tone

The reason i would want the sansamp is to recreate in utero tones and also use it in my own songwriting, maybe in combination with other kurt cobain pedals. The other settings beyond distortion also would come much in handy.
    Happy 5k subs jq!

Nirvana and all the members of the band introduced to the music I’m into today, and taught me how to play music too. Kurt taught me how to play guitar, Dave taught me to play drums, and Krist taught me bass (sorta). I’d love a GT2 to add to my DS2 and Small Clone. Right now my rig is a Jackson and a fender champ 25se that I picked up at a pawn shop for $150 since I’m kinda broke. The Ds-2 my friend gave to me and the small clone I got as a Christmas present, so I’m slowly putting together something I can get a lot of cool sounds from

The SansAmp GT2 is such a versatile piece of gear that could be used in so many different ways, from tender cleans to high gain fuzz and thrash metal style distortion. Its use on In Utero produced such an iconic and unparalleled guitar sound at the time. I'd love to get my hands on one to not only see if I could get close to replicating the tones from that album, but also use it more experimentally with other pedals on my board to try and achieve different tones. I've also heard of people playing bass guitar through it as well and would love to see if it could help me achieve a better bass tone for my recordings.

I'd like a sansamp because I never really had a way to afford it, but I'm still so fascinated and in love with the 93+ Nirvana eras sound! Playing guitar is my favorite hobby and tone replication is fun, even when I don't have much equipment.

I've only been recently into electric guitars, for about a month now (although I've played acoustic guitar for the last 10 years) and I have yet to use any effects on my set up. A SansAmp would be really great to elevate my playing.

I'm a huge nirvana fan. Nirvana is the reason why i picked up a guitar. Someday i really want to cover up some nirvana songs, but sadly i don't have enough money for pedals. The Sansamp gonna be a really big help for me! Good Luck to everybody!

The Sansamp is such a versitle pedal known for one of the most icon guitar tones! I've been wanting one for a while now, so I know that if I win it will be a mainstay in my small collection of pedals for sure.
My favorite piece of gear you have is either the Skystang II mustang you have or the custom build Jaguar. The color of the body is just perfect; it's so strange that Fender chooses to go with the darker reddish brown on more modern Jaguars. Those two are THE two Nirvana guitars in my mind. I feel like I have to mention the Small Clone as I've never really been to fond of choruses, but this one pedal has made me appreciate the effect more.

Awesome collection man! I think I should get the Sansamp GT2 because I have recently become completely obsessed with Nirvana and your channel along with NirvanaGuitars, Aaron Rash and obviously your channel. I am a teenager who is wanting to start a band and make my own stuff. I think that the Sansamp GT2 will help alot with that. Also the best pedal you have is obviously the EchoFlanger :). Great video and keep up the good work!

Nirvana is the reason I play guitar. Kurt is one of the most influential people of my life. His values are very similar to mine, he seems so genuine. I can relate to him with having money problems, I can't work currently due to various reasons. I'm currently making an album on an extremely thin budget. It would help me alot with my album and the tone I'm trying to get. :)

The reason why I want a sans amp is because after hearing Kurt used it live and on in utero. And hearing your guitar tone in your videos I just fell in love with that tone. It’s a guitar tone I’ve always tried to replicate but can never do cause of me not having a sans amp. It’s one of my favorite guitar tones ever. And it makes me sad that I can’t get that tone. and also cause I can’t find a sans amp that I can’t afford. The ones I do find online are either $300 to $1000. And the one I tried at a guitar store wasn’t even for sale. It was a pedal from the owners private collection. But yeah that’s why I want a sansamp
