Maybe in March I'll have it all together. I need to replace the switches and I want to change the pickguard as well. I also need a bridge for it. I'll try and get it done before that, but it depends on the amount of money I have saved. I have a big purchase planned for June
Dude, I gotta ask, what do you do? What’s your day job? Cause I remember seeing you post on reddit finally getting the KB jag and then you got all this shit. Whatever it is, I need to get into that line of work lol
@@jq.guitars damn, well stock up on gear while you can! Also wanted to just mention that you should check out a band called drug church, you might like them, super grungy band, sound like they’re outta the 90s and have some of the best lead lines I’ve heard in a while.
Hey, just wanted to say great video and that this is a really nice collection, love the Jagstang and Quad Reverb! Maybe we could do a collab sometime as we both make similar content and like similar styles of music. Thanks!
Maybe we could record a Live and Loud video, Pat typically played his RAT anyways. I could play the Kurt parts, you could play Pat's parts. I'm getting a 1995 DS-2 in the mail in about a week or two, by then I'll have all the pedals Kurt used on that tour.
@@jq.guitars Nice! I have a DS-2 aswell. I also have a Squier bullet strat which I’ve upgraded with a Fender Enforcer humbucker in the bridge (Super high output) so similar to the strats Pat would have used on the tour. I’ll have to find Pats amp and RAT settings, I’ve got a PolyChorus too. I think Pat just used the same settings as Kurt for it though. I can email you a screen shot I took from the Live and Loud videos where you can sort of see Kurts SansAmp knob settings.
There's a couple SansAmp can get you a nice variety of tones, ranging from overdrive, amp distortion (Fender/Mesa Boogie/Marshall style depending on settings) and the heavy distortion you hear in In Utero. It was designed as an amp simulation pedal, which alone gets you 3 different amp sounds, 8 switches that changes the tone, and 4 knobs that add gain and highs. There's just so many different sound capabilities with the SansAmp. Aside from overdrive and distortion, the PolyChorus is also great for different sounds. It has a 4 way selector switch, that's basically the equivalent of having 4 different pedals. You can use this pedal to get the crazy sounds like from Radio Friendly Unit Shifter, you can get a great chorus effect as well. Flanger, Filter Matrix and Double Track (similar to delay) are other sounds you can get from it. Both pedals are expensive, but for all the sounds you can get, I'd say they're worth it
I record the audio while I'm recording the video, then I use an editor to sync them together. It's not hard at all, I can go into more detail if needed
@@Eternity909 I record my audio via an interface (Behringer U-Phoria UM2), and I use Cakewalk (recording software) I have my camera recording the video, then I take the audio and video into an editor and sync them together

If you can afford one, you should get a univox hi flyer.
Excellent collection! My favorites are Fender Kurt Cobain, Jagstan and Gibson :)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed

You should do covers with bass and guitar. It would also be cool if you got a drum set.

I wanted to put a pearl pickguard on it, I think it'd look nice since I already have a Japanese Blue Mustang with a tortoise guard

nice bro, which guitar do you prefer for

The Mustang and Jaguar both really work well, but the Jaguar gets that In Utero studio tone and that Nevermind Live sound.
