ORD 2 years back, my reservist is coming up in December, and times relly flies man. From remembering the days I wish not receiving the enlistment letter, and the dreadful countdown of enlistment. But great memories were made and experience for once in a lifetime
Currently a specialist cadet doing my pro term. I got very lost after my posting as I failed to enter OCS, I have been aiming to sign on as an officer. Felt empty the last few months, but after this video and some reflection, I will try to make the most out of next 1.5 years even though I could not achieve my original dream. In the end, I must lead those who will eventually be under me. Congrats on your ORD!
I think this is the best video I found to tell my late bloomer friends, or other friends on how to deal with NS. Honestly I would have ORD'ed during National Day this year, but it just so happens I found myself sticking to a MDES Career in the Air Force and surprisingly liking it for the past 1.5 years :) It's extremely refreshing to hear someone offer advice on a very wide view of what you want to be- and this video captured it all. Above All sir! 🫡
Sooo true man. ORD'd recently in May this year as well and near the end realised that I will really miss all my buddies and the experiences I had in NS, so I wrote down a solid 2 months. Ngl alotta peeps just wanna ORD and move on with life but dang I keep looking back and reminiscing about those carefree days. Idk what were your best memories but mine were definitely driving school, XWB and just the daily stay-in lifestyle. Truly fun times man.
