the way they tell the stories through like a diary was awesome. I played this in 2004, sometimes I reinstall and play the campaign again. I miss the older MOH and CoD. A gamer woman.
@12:32 "If you think you have a better way, you can leave now and go show your mother!" When I heard this for the first time, I actually turned around and started walking the other way! The drill instructor then yelled out something like "you just walked your way out of my corps!" and I failed the mission. Definitely worth it, would leave boot camp again.
Loving the detail of this game, (notice the dust lift up when Tommy lands), the squad dynamic and well rounded characters and the Sergeant's speech. This is everything that Rising Sun should have been.
+MERC0R You know what we should do? Create a big community about it. Have you heard about the RE2 remake? Pretty much the fans requested it and they're making it now.
I was responsible for the Art and UI direction on the Multiplayer. This brings back so many memories. I came here because playing BF1 reminded me of this game and how much time I spent on it.
doesn't matter to me if you believe me. Were you there at TKO Software the late nights? Were you sending back artistic approvals to EA while simultaniously testing the game? We did this game directly after Medal of Honor Breakthrough and did the multiplayer portion of the game. Sorry the internet has failed you but it's okay, you can't bwlieve everyone.
These type of games are my childhood! (13 now although it really doesn't make a difference) I had fun playing these types of games, even though I never knew anything about the second war xD
Man... This game needs a remake. The narrative and the story is PERFECT! just as allied assault. Imagine seeing BF1 graphics at Pearl Harbor. Seeing a high poly DI face...
+Nemanja “TheBro064” Maksimovic It's free right now! If you download origin which is a program from EA. You can get this game for free. You need to get it now before they remove it though. I'm downloading mine right now
just download it and play the first time yesterday, man this game is very good, great story, graphic is very beauty, i really love the design of the jungle, island in this game. Rate: 10/10
The whole bootcamp reminds me of Full Metal Jacket , even that sergeant has the same voice as the Ronald Lee Ermey. Not to mention that the entire game was directed by Steven Spielberg
The best WW2 game I ever played. I liked it even better than Allied Assault (which is also fun, and although the action flowed a little faster the story here is better).
i think the best part about the gameplay is that you're not a one man army like many other fps. you have an actual team to work with (and must utilize), you need to use the environment as cover and vantage points, and you need to fight smart rather than head-on (i can't tell you how many physical fights i lost because the japanese soldiers always bayonet me before i could melee them).
In the hardest difficulty is lots of fun. In the other hand, the AI of the teammates can be very annoying. But overall I had a great experience. And I even learned a lot about WWII.
hey guys it actually isn't to bad. Just keep in mind that it is ALL JUNGLE WARFARE no city no desert no none of that battlefield like tank actions or fighter planes
In 17:23, if you get 10 accurate shots you will heard the drill sergeant said this Drill Sergeant: Holy crap, looks like we have a killer! Conlin, your new name is Bullseye. As you were. Frank Minoso: Nice shootin, Davy Crockett. Like hittin fish in the barrel, huh?
I remember playing all these games when I was younger, now I’ve enlisted in the corps and I operate amtraks. Back then those were the LVT’s (now AAV’s). Crazy how I ended up doing something that I always saw in movies and games lol never thought about it back then
Oh god... I tried like 50 times to not die in the beach battle and I though I get put into tutorial because I fail too much and game thinks I must go to training xD I had no idea that you cannot survive the first battle... good thing I came and watched this now.
*NOSTALGIA* que recuerdos cuando era chibolo y me gustaba este juego :´v voy a volverlo a jugar aunque me recuerdo un poco de como se trataba lo jugare otravez :´v tengo 14 y lo juge alos 6 y 7 :v
Been on a ww2 craze, trying to complete original cods, call of duty 3, would play finest hour and big red one but ps2 is done i think. Def getting this
If you're on a WWII Crazy, I recommend Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2, one of the best and most realistic shooters around. Extremely immersive, makes you feel as if you're actually in the war. Multiplayer only tho
I used to play this game's multiplayer demo all the fucking time back when I was like 12 (I didn't know how to download full games yet). I sucked so much at it, and there were only two maps available, but I loved it. Listening to the loading screen song just brought so many memories. I remember once joining a server where up to like 20 people were playing, and that felt so awesome! 20 people, woow! lol After some time, the game lost popularity and no one was coming online anymore, setting servers or joining mine. Sad days :( Are people still playing this? Cuz I might just download it and relive a couple of memories.
Man you see this game back then , they give a feeling of .... i dont know how to call it but the today games surely lack of it . we see today BF 1 , Cod series .... its all about Badass feeling and runing and shooting randomly and story that dosent stay in our hearts .... its ...i dont know man
Once you start the game, hit "Esc" and go to gameplay options and change what you want. The HUD is not that neccesary, but without crosshair is more difficult I think.
To: Jack Doyle From: RedCreepYT Jack doyle, this game is now free on origin, as you probably knew. i am downloading this game, at this very moment at 7:50 at night. you have been an inspiration for me to play this game, and i finally could. thanks for playing this for us. make more good videos. EDIT: Meh, it needs an installer and that is the hard part. maybe tomorrow.
funny thing, i actually played realistic so long (w/ many trial and error), i adapted to the no HUD, crosshair, and ally icons. nowadays, i feel that they all get in the way and that sight picturing is much better than crosshairs.
It does. But you can put them back on (I did it to make it a bit easier). The real difference of realistic mode are: - Enemy IA have much better accuracy. - 1 rifle shot or 5 mg shots and you're down. - Only 1 wound heal per stage (with a few exceptions). That's what I remember, maybe there's more. NOTE: Apparently none of the above is apply to the intro and the boot camp.
When you followed the DI after you excited the building my first thought was: in real life you don't and I mean DO NOT look at the DI when you're standing at attention or during a lesson.
Although it lacks in the gameplay it's still a fun game to play. Especially if you exploit the hardest difficulties. Considering its release date it is good, with a great story.
Basicaly all these games are based on WWII and the events that took place there. And for what I can tell, it was pretty easy to get blown off near the beach. It is also shown in the movie Saving Private Ryan. At least we get to experience it this way and not the real way back in the 40's, don't you think? Thanks for watching...
the way they tell the stories through like a diary was awesome. I played this in 2004, sometimes I reinstall and play the campaign again. I miss the older MOH and CoD.
A gamer woman.
Why the need to point out "a gamer woman" lmao
@12:32 "If you think you have a better way, you can leave now and go show your mother!"
When I heard this for the first time, I actually turned around and started walking the other way! The drill instructor then yelled out something like "you just walked your way out of my corps!" and I failed the mission. Definitely worth it, would leave boot camp again.
I did a lot of things like trying to shoot or melee the DI. The game stops you from doing it and it'll be game over.
This was no doubt one of the best fps games I ever played. The story, the mechanics, the atmosphere it was just so so great
Loving the detail of this game, (notice the dust lift up when Tommy lands), the squad dynamic and well rounded characters and the Sergeant's speech. This is everything that Rising Sun should have been.
The drill instructor delivers the best creation story ever.
I think he was voiced by R E Early
They should remake this game, it was a fucking masterpiece and i love it to bits!
+MERC0R You know what we should do? Create a big community about it. Have you heard about the RE2 remake? Pretty much the fans requested it and they're making it now.
when I saw this game I'm remembering good memories. One of the legendary game from 2004
I was responsible for the Art and UI direction on the Multiplayer. This brings back so many memories. I came here because playing BF1 reminded me of this game and how much time I spent on it.
doesn't matter to me if you believe me. Were you there at TKO Software the late nights? Were you sending back artistic approvals to EA while simultaniously testing the game? I think the game needs more patching.
It's always great to see developers at these videos! Thanks for making a fun game!
Company that made it went out of business a long time ago.
Thank you dor making my childhood awesome :)
I was really connected to the story line of this game and I love how in the menu the setting changes throughout the game!
Wow. With me watching your videos so much makes me want to dig out my own MOHPA and play it a lot more. You're incredible! Love these videos of yours!
The fact that there's an actual boot camp shows that the devs actually cared about making a war game.
@Trend101Warrior yeah, they're more like blockbuster films nowadays.
These type of games are my childhood! (13 now although it really doesn't make a difference) I had fun playing these types of games, even though I never knew anything about the second war xD
man... this brings memories back. 2004-2018
God,the cutscenes were the best thing you could seen in this game.
this game was one of the best fps games I ever played
The japanese caught me offguard many time too.
It's a game more realistic than other FPS on its time, in my opinion.
this game brings back so much memory...i was and still really impressed with the awesome firing animation
Man... This game needs a remake. The narrative and the story is PERFECT! just as allied assault. Imagine seeing BF1 graphics at Pearl Harbor. Seeing a high poly DI face...
The animations are so nice. And the combat was great in this game. It's hard to figure out how they managed this that long ago.
pure passion for making a great game instead of cash grabbing
One of my greatest childhood games of all time. I almost cried, when I knew I could play it for free on Origin XD
+Baratako I'm glad to read that! it's a great game.
OMG I got it for free to on origin for windows 10! My friend gave me the desks but I never got the product key
+Baratako i am also downloading this game for free on origin! That is why i saw this video

Ah the good old times when EA Logo actually meant something.
@DANK BOİ sorry, they've relabeled them as "surprise mechanics"

wowwww i really enjoy this game when i was a kid, hope one day we have a remake. Really cool mate!
The whole bootcamp reminds me of Full Metal Jacket , even that sergeant has the same voice as the Ronald Lee Ermey. Not to mention that the entire game was directed by Steven Spielberg

+Robing bankz i am cos i am a cheapskate but hey what the heck it still plays ,and my grandson hasnt played it before so good for him
Bruh....This is better then fucking CoD and BF.....Shame that Activision and Dice don't pick up tips from good FPS games....
The best WW2 game I ever played. I liked it even better than Allied Assault (which is also fun, and although the action flowed a little faster the story here is better).
Hands down the best MOH Pacific assault In the Franchise
best medal game. the characters made me cry all tht time i play this game. and now its free on origin!!!!
I remember my Father playing this game a long time ago (We still have it).
Your comment makes me feel a bit old, but in this context it's great. There's nothing like nostalgia.
Thanks for the major blast of nostalgia
You're welcome.
Yes, I've been there too, with so many good games. Thanks for watching!
i think the best part about the gameplay is that you're not a one man army like many other fps. you have an actual team to work with (and must utilize), you need to use the environment as cover and vantage points, and you need to fight smart rather than head-on (i can't tell you how many physical fights i lost because the japanese soldiers always bayonet me before i could melee them).
Memories come flooding back....
I think this is the best Medal of honor game :D
I know I made a clear mistake on this one, to not point my gun downrange at all times, but I want you to watch the Drill Sergeant while he speaks :)
vvzsdszasssssas
japonze viktori
this drill instructor appearing in military training's voice actor is ronald lee ermay (sergent hartman) from the movie "full metal jacket"
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you appreciate the effort.
Awesome game, love it, want to get it again, Love the Drill Sergeant God speech, they seriously need to make a sequel.
Fucking love the bootcamp intro scene
Normal mode killed me so many times at some parts good work sir
In the hardest difficulty is lots of fun. In the other hand, the AI of the teammates can be very annoying. But overall I had a great experience. And I even learned a lot about WWII.
The only medal of honor classic I can remember as saying it looked like a movie

In 17:23, if you get 10 accurate shots you will heard the drill sergeant said this
Drill Sergeant: Holy crap, looks like we have a killer! Conlin, your new name is Bullseye. As you were.
Frank Minoso: Nice shootin, Davy Crockett. Like hittin fish in the barrel, huh?
I think he is the kindest drill instructor I ever seen
Best MOH hands down, especially multi-player. Miss my online buddies.
I remember playing all these games when I was younger, now I’ve enlisted in the corps and I operate amtraks. Back then those were the LVT’s (now AAV’s). Crazy how I ended up doing something that I always saw in movies and games lol never thought about it back then
Kill innocent people? Steal oil from foreign lands? My hero

Man i have 11 years wen i play this game. I love him . I play hours I think if is remastered i think he will be the best ww2 game ever created.

LOL funny you mention Saving Private Ryan, cause if it it wasn't for that movie FPS's most certainly wouldn't be the same today!
i remembered playing this game. it was a long long time
Tommy Conlin is a professional at demolition skills trained by Phil Cassidy
Boas lembranças sobre esse jogo foi um dos primeiros jogos de tiro que joguei na Vida no Pc
Once you start the game, hit "Esc" and go to gameplay options and change what you want.
The HUD is not that neccesary, but without crosshair is more difficult I think.
Yes. As I said, they're not really necessary. This is a great game and it's worth playing multiple times and making all sorts of challenges.

I didn't know that. Thanks for pointing it out. And I wanted it to look realistic, lol.
@Anton Iversson Yes, this walkthrough was recorded in Windows 7.
Crazyasian123456 ur noob
The sergent voice at the boot camp is better in french it was really epic
+Racuun you're*
FrostAlias haha i guess im the noob now xD
+Jack Doyle i have windows 8 so that means it should run pretty well
i wish the remake of this game, with better graphic and animation but keep the gameplay and story :D
same because i really wanted to play this game in ps4 or ps5
this game takes me wayyy back now
Great video! I played this game and fantastic :33 i like videos where the gamer dont speak...:) gold luck
XxX_P@uł$W@QY0ł0m@$t3r_XxX Thanks man!
Although it lacks in the gameplay it's still a fun game to play. Especially if you exploit the hardest difficulties. Considering its release date it is good, with a great story.
Jack, por qué en el adiestramiento te quitan las armas ?
Best game of all time
best disription of the marines ever
So good memories from this game :3
Realistic difficulty was a bitch, I prefer Hard difficulty myself.
Basicaly all these games are based on WWII and the events that took place there. And for what I can tell, it was pretty easy to get blown off near the beach. It is also shown in the movie Saving Private Ryan. At least we get to experience it this way and not the real way back in the 40's, don't you think?

i wish they could remake this game, but with today's grafics
I really want to play this, but omg the control!
D-Day is not just the battle of Normandy. It's basically every beach landing.
I remember I was five sitting in the basement playing this on the ps2
This is back when games like these actually took awhile to beat.
this game multiplayer invasion mode was awesome why we don't have this in actuals games
+mr onsépatro XD Right!
that was a beautiful speech into the start of boot camp lol
