Great video. I played in this one back in high school. Later, I DM'd it two different times. The second time, I altered it quite substantially. Thanks for the historical summary. And, of course, it's amazing to have Luke here sharing his info.
100%. Super love their old artwork. I've started another 'Interactive Timeline' focusing on the early TSR Artists: prezi.com/view/DuologozLBJe7VSpqkxw/
@@undertone_dj Love this timeline!! Probably difficult to go any further in years using this format -- as art exploded with the AD&D 1e hardbacks and 1978 adventure modules (and even harder to do if you include Dragon Magazine) -- but yeah this is super cool!! What I do is I collect all the art for some of my favorite artists in folders on my computer. My favorite TSR artist is Bill Willingham and I've I have close to 100 of the pieces he did -- get's harder because this includes D&D ads he did, non D&D games like Top Secret and Boot Hill, and stuff he did for Dragon Magazine. 🙂
Nice work on all this David. I ran across your channel a while back. Love the dedication to the game, from the early days until now. Nice to see Luke on here.
Oh man!!! I'm super excited to get in on one of these rounds. Hopefully at Dragon Con this year. I just bought my badge for the con, but I don't see events up for signup yet!
The best way to complete G1 is sneak through. The second best way was the way we did it. Multiple Elf fighter/magic users surprising everything 4 in 6 times and throwing tons of rebounding lightning bolts and feather falling thrown rocks.
This is awesome! Your game room is outrageous (in a good way) and it's really fun to see your timeline in the video. I'm still going through the video, but wanted to comment for the YT overlords. Cheers!
Best Luke Gygax interview ever. Seen it from Brazil. Good job!
Gygax is awesome.
Yes sir! Both the Sr. and Luke!

Thanks Ronin! Looking forward to having you out here to Savannah for our 'Siege of Bodenburg' match soon!!
Thank you for your service, Gary.
/SaluteGary!
The art of the modules, absolutely. Loved the early art.

Truly enjoyed the show.
Thanks Terry! Lining up Mike Carr for an interview on “In search of the Unknown” next!
This is a great interview. Five stars!
Thanks Thomas! Was an honor to have Luke on!
Wow, Luke gave us some utterly awesome info and nostalgic stuff from his family here! And great gaming room as well, sir! Thanks for this 👊🤓
My pleasure Ray! Luke was great! So awesome to hear stories from behind the curtain!
Stumbled upon your channel. Great video. Thanks!
Thanks Bobo!!

Fantastic interview!
Thanks Brad! Luke was great!
love your game room ceiling... looks like heaven ^^
Thanks Nylar! There are lots of dead PC's up there in heaven!
I was one of the players in the Inkarnate tournament. It really was just as good as Luke described it.

Ooooo, great strategy!
David is the interactive timeline publicly available? Would love to dig into it over a cold beer. Cheers!
It sure is! Adding that link in the description! But here it is:

No mention of Arduin Grimoire, bummer. Luv the interview with Luke!
Thanks Tom! I don't know a lot about the Arduin Grimoire! Maybe that's a topic I'll dig into soon!
@@undertone_dj for some reason recently the Facebook page is blown up with all kinds of posts and news and such. Seems like a comeback as well
Damn. Nice game room.
Thanks March! It's been a pleasure to play in, and has made it pretty easy to rally players!
Nice interview. You bent the knee but nice interview.
Thanks PC Cleric!
