I love this album :D I tried to find a complaint about it and all i had was "There are too many riffs that are too good", basically true for their entire discography ;)
PJAlphaMusic, Yes,I call it Progressive Melodic Death Metal, but I would never get mad at someone that currently dedicates their channel to all Opeth. 😉 You're awesome! Looking forward to the poll. 🤞for Watershed/Deluxe version.
lol I was toking/playing around on the computer and never got the notification 😔 but I'm here now!!! I vote to keep going in order, but yes watershed is amazing...then again all opeth is good so it's hard to choose favorites, hence just recommending beginning to end, easier to keep track of 😋
my vote for next album is blackwater park or ghost reveries. blackwater park is considered to be their best by many but my personal favourite is ghost reveries
Yeah man, this is an album that pretty much NEEDS to be heard at once and in order. Im an old school fan (started with them in the late 90's). They got too progressive/experimental for me after Watershed and I stopped paying attention after that (although I hear that some of their newer stuff is pretty good). As far as the OLD SCHOOL Opeth, Still Life and Blackwater Park are my favorite albums.
@@PJAlphaMusic Not at all. I was driving to work with Blackwater Park for about a year in the early 2000's. Nothing progressive at all for me....and i know the band YES that i listened to as a young teen in the 80's. YES was progressive. Blackwater Park was a totally different sound.
scientist confirmed that riff at 3:30 was the heaviest riff ever recorded in e standard
lol!
You're right but a later study concluded that the second time it plays is the heaviest riff ever recorded full stop
I vote to go in order of release, but as long as you get to them all but each individual album itself in order I'll be happy 😁
I think you have a point seems I like to listen chronologically for research purpose.

There is no complaint on my part lol

@@benneburg Guilty as charged, 😂 and not ashamed of it. ;-)
Happy New Year to you as well.
@@deminybs I'm just so anxious for him to hear Hessian Peel, Coil/Heir Apparent, Lotus Eater, Hex Omega, and the rest....
I just can't help it.
Added it!

Don’t you think blackwater maybe too progressive?

Mikael Akerfeldt is the best guttural voice in all of history
You think so?
@@PJAlphaMusic by far
I'm sorry if I didn't like a video. Your Opeth run, is so great. Keep it up.
Thanks!!
