I'm a Dodge Cummins guy but you deserve respect from anybody, that 7.3 is a beast and the truck itself is awesome, this truck is just great from any view.... great job 👍
Diesel Brothers need to find this builder and put his ass on retention salary. Imagine what he could do with their money and shop? This is some next level build ingenuity!!
How could anyone down vote this video? The amount of work, knowledge and professionalism that went into this build is amazing. Fantastic job. Thank you for sharing this beautiful Truck
This is the kind of build that doesn't take away from the already badass look it had, but instead just further accentuated the eye candy and purpose of the truck!. Great work seriously and it's definitely a truck I'd love to own and show off!. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🍻
nate ivey - wtf are you even commenting for?? You are broke ass and have never built anything. Just another zero talent broke ass never had douche troll. Beat it fool. These toys are for real men. With real money. What a douche tard.
Wow, I am blown away by this build! I’m itching to do a diesel pickup build of my own but haven’t found the right project yet. Seeing what you’ve accomplished is inspiring as hell!
I've been a ford truck guy for years and have owned quite a few over the years and I can tell you this, you have one of the nicest pick ups I think I have ever seen, you attention to detail is incredible and I love how you made everything fit and work.
Nobody really appreciates your excellent workmanship until they attempt to build something like this. I’m currently in the middle of mounting a 1940 Ford ton and a half cab and bed on the chassis of a 2001 F-350 dually 4x4 7.3 Powerstroke. Believe me when I say it, job well done my friend.
Congrats, it looks beautiful! Love this build. If I ever own a dentside ford, I plan on doing a 7.3L power stroke swap. I’d keep the original dash & no stacks though.
Same here. I could tolerate the stacks on a diesel but still don’t prefer them. The dash is pretty sad though. I hate to see the all-steel dash removed and replaced with a big hunk of plastic.
I totally agree with the dash. But since he used the 97 firewall and all it’s wiring, that dash was the easiest way to go. I can see why he did it but I also would’ve liked the older dash more.
That’s amazing planning and execution! I have studied a lot of dash mods. This is the classiest I have seen. I love the custom cab factory dash but this fits like a glove. Nice work.
This truck looks amazing and the attention to detail is awesome! From using the cut out of the 97 firewall to making the 97 interior look like it could have come from the Factory like this is just legendary! Great job
I've Owned , Seen and been in A LOT OF TRUCKS , every make and model ! That's probably one of the Cleanest builds , Coolest builds in that category , I've ever seen !
I’m building my 1970 F250 right now, it is going onto a 1994 powerstroke chassis, swapping out the firewall and floorpans on mine as well as the complete interior. Love your ride
It must feel great with that 7.3 power stroke. . Man nice job . I bought a 93 IDI last spring that needs some work and I just can't find the time yet . Great to see men being men .
I was watching the video and my wife walked up behind me and said 'What is that'? So I rewound a bit and with no sound showed her and told her about it. She said that is BADD AS.... She knows her trucks. Nice job man. I would love to see that in person. That's a lot of work but you made it look clean. Really nice job.
Tim Fritz you are one smart man. Fantastic job and a beautiful truck. Hey! Beaver Falls, PA -- that's where Joe Willie Namath is from! My favorite all-time QB!
Lmao James 😂 do you think about things before you say them or are you just a natural dumb ass? They came with a 5-speed. Called a zf5. Do your research if you wanna try to be a know it all douchebag. ✌🏻
I've had a '69 F100, '71 F250, '75 F100, several mid 90's trucks, and a 2000 F350 dually with the 7.3L diesel and out of all the trucks I've had (I've also had a bunch of Rangers and mid 2000s trucks) I like the 7.3L diesel engine and the body style of the 70s trucks the best. If I was to build a truck this would be what I would do right here! This truck is just everything a guy could want no matter his age!!! Well done.
You know I was a die hard mopar fan since I was 2 years old, growing up all I said was ford sucks Chevys sucks and I only like mopar brands, cars/trucks then I realized all cars are good just not Prius’s.
This is... THE BEST BUILD I've ever seen from an individual. Perfection through incredible planning and execution. Really just basically hard to believe build ..so perfect. Just wow.
Mr. Tim you are a dam talented truck builder. That little red devil is the perfect accent to your beautifully truck. Thanks for sharing your video and your meticulous attention to detail. AWSOME!!!
this is one of the cleanest diesel swaps i have ever seen and i watch a lot of content! The only down side to it being that high off the ground is you need a latter to do anything to it!
Wow just wow, my daily driver is a '96 f150 with some lift and I yearn for a diesel but I also want an older classic and you have created a perfect storm of both MAN what a truck. So much effort, I won't say work because you obviously love the labor. Props
The PowerStroke sound coming from that year of truck trips my brain out. Not really a Ford guy, but that thing is friggin' MINT! Nice work for sure and love that factory looking touches.

One of the best conversation I've ever seen anyone can tell the attention to detail is first class I drive a 2002 f350 powerstroke single cab and love it I've owned 6.0 & 6.4 & own a aluminium 6.7 but I still love my 7.3 6 speed the most
That's how that truck should have been built back in the day you did a fantastic job on that truck and I like how you did to stacks instead of having dual exhaust him blow on fumes I people you'll saying goes blowing coals I wouldn't put a back rack on it before I did the stacks very nice though
The only thing I honestly don't like is the color... Everything else about this beautiful truck I absolutely love and would want. Thanks for sharing this with us and I hope that someone is still enjoying it!. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🍻
I love your truck, Tim! GM guy myself but loved the 70's and early 80's Fords. I think that started at an early age when I got the Tamiya BlackFoot RC truck.
Wow. You are a master of your craft. Then are my favorite trucks and you found a way to make it way better. Plus you used me second favorite truck to do so. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Man that truck is sick I love that year 1970 for Ford my grandfather had a 1970 f100 and my dad has an '02 f350 with a 7.3 those are the best diesel engines Ford produced
Nice build.. took your time and did it right. There was someone who did just as good of a job on a '78 who put a cat V8 in theirs. Anyone interested just search for 1978 ford with cat diesel conversion.
Awesome job. A job done right rather than just 1/2 assed like so many. I love how you kept some of the old but incorporated some of the newer stuff too.
I absolutely love your truck brother and I would not change a thing!! I’ve always loved the old fords and I’ve always been a huge fan of the 7.3s, I’ve owned several of them and still proudly drive my early 99. Super clean engine swap brother, the 70s could only dream of such a truck 👍
I honestly couldn’t tell ya how much I love the looks the sound and just in general everything about this truck, I really wanna build one just like this, awesome job and work looks and sounds awesome💯❤️
Super nice man. I have '60 Ford F100 4x4 that I took the body off and put on a '79 high boy frame a few years back. I kept the original interior and metal dash as it was all in primo shape. I was going back and forth between a 7.3L and a 429. Then I bought a new F350 dually with the 6.7L so I went with the 429 to make a hot rod 4x4. I also had a 1971 Camper Special in high school with a 390 and I think a 350 turbo trans but I can't remember.
Nice work budz...no mickey mouse work at all. Very top shelf!! I'm wanting to do this to a rare 79 F350 4x4 dually dump truck. Would be my dream truck for hauling firewood and landscape materials 😎💪🍁
badass ride. i have a 97 f350 4x4 crew . bought new. lifted 10", 16" stone crusher welds with toyos, 180,000 miles. 7.3 powerstroke is a solid diesel motor. e4od...well its my 3rd one . dont like the ttanny but what canya do. youve built a very nice ride.
I'm a Dodge Cummins guy but you deserve respect from anybody, that 7.3 is a beast and the truck itself is awesome, this truck is just great from any view.... great job 👍
reliable somewhat, lots of oil leaks and wiring harness issues.
jon doe ur an idiot, you never worked out of 7.3 and witnessed the ass! snatching raw brutal ass power they make you fucking dumbass
jon doe shut the fuck up. you lying jealous bitch! you're nothing more than a broken ass internet troll.
OSSIEL LABRA no you are not, don't lie. I'm a dodge cummins guy... just think about what you said. Cummins is it's own brand.
jon doe how?
Diesel Brothers need to find this builder and put his ass on retention salary. Imagine what he could do with their money and shop? This is some next level build ingenuity!!
My thoughts exactly sir.
Thank you !!! I appreciate that !!!

I would do without the stacks but it ain’t my truck. Mad respect and hella jealousy from here. Super, super slick ride my man.

Badass truck it's really cool that you put a 7.3 instead of a Cummins.
Daniel Vasquez why the fuck would you put a cummins in a ford?
AMG BENZ_HAMMER_6.0 you realize f650s come with cummins in them right?
MoparMadness they also came with 6.7s your point
AMG BENZ_HAMMER_6.0 because people do
Cummins Tech they came with cats in them also. and your a big boy you should be able to figure out my point.
