I swear I've been having these same feelings about Abby Phillip. I noticed she always pubs the negative on Biden and pushes back on any guest on her show that speaks on Biden, otherwise. CNN is so right leaning now. They have republican guests on there to 'give both sides", but CNN let's them take over the segment and just spew the lies. Abby Phillip is one of the anchors who always allows it.

First of all, every parent with more than one child has made that same type of gaffe many times with respect to their kids’ names. Abby Phillip needs to have several seats. She’s not high enough on the professional totem pole, nor pale enough on the complexion scale, to think that she won’t be one of the first sacrificial lambs if CNN decides to “cut costs” if it’s viewership decreases. Just look how quickly they turned on Don Lemon, and he was way higher up on that totem pole than Abby Phillip. I, too, was among those who actually expected better from her based on how she has conducted herself in the past.

Thank you for this segment, Karen. Indeed, when CNN's "management" changed, so did its "viewpoint" and thereby, the content of its on-air talent. And I do believe that there was an "edict", as you say, that came down from the top to the talent. I no longer watch CNN hoping to get unbiased information.

I was introduced to Abby during the Pandemic where she reported from her front yard or somebody’s yard, and now she has her own show and her demeanor changed. I’m disappointed in her and VanJo es, and sometimes LauraCoates. Laura comes on at 11 on CNN. Don Lemon bought her in having her in his show every night and now she has her own show and he’s gone. CNN, glad there ratings are not good bcuz they don’t talk news anymore bcuz it’s all about bashing Joe Biden. CNN is Fox News 2.0; they are not bc allowed to put their mouth in Trump ‘allegedly’! I don’t watch them anymore. Last night I decided to check them out and Anderson Coopers show was all about Joe Biden. Like dude, is there no other news to report on. CNN has changed so much. When they demoted and finally fired Don Lemon, and promoted a young lady with a prime time show that had been there for 5 minutes, I stopped watching then. I used to watch CNN and MSNBC religiously, and I have tapped out because I understand their ethos-punditry, no journalisms, corporate greed, etc. No wonder they’re failing because they have alienated their core audiences. Real journalism can not serve two masters. The truth is the only master. I only support independent media accountable for the truth, not corporate greed.
