A 1996 SVT Cobra with the following mods doing a few light take offs and fly by's: JLT cai, BBK 62mm tb, Steeda underdrive pulleys, long tube headers, Magnaflow catback with X-pipe, tuned on SCT sf3

Nice snake! I've got a 2001 Cobra myself with similar mods (minus the headers- getting them soon!) and I've considered replacing the stock throttle body with either the BBK or the AccuFab... but I've heard from several people that not only is the stock throttle body on most Cobras fine, but replacing it with an aftermarket part will actually lower total hp... any truth to this? What's your opinion?

They are Chambered Magnaflows.. Definitely not Magnapacks.. Best way to tell is they are smooth all the way through out, where as the magnapacks start to break-up at the higher rpms.. The Magnapacks you can hear the crackling I guess you can say?? I dunno what term to use for it..
