Kyler went to my high school (Allen high school in Allen, Texas) and I was in the marching band so I saw him play every Friday night. Watching him play then and win a state title was amazing. I can’t imagine what it will be like in the NFL!

As long as they allow him to DEVELOP he will be a good qb. We live in a day and age where if you bust in your first season...then your done. Players aren't given a chance to develop anymore. So no matter what happens in his first season he has to be given the chance to develop and play well

Look a Goff his first year and then his second. Teams give up on young QB fast. Rosen had a typical rookie season but since Baker had a good year it looks bad.

They need to do this drill differently. Like put light up helmets on the receivers and let the QB go through his progressions, then have to throw to the receiver whose helmet lights up.

Jeff T height is hardly a factor, there’s never been a case when a short pro qb has failed because he couldn’t see over his line. If they failed it’s definitely for a different reason.
Players choose to workout at Pro Day instead of the combine to make sure they get their spotlight. Smart!

Pro days are set up to make the players look good. They are pre calculated. Where as the combine is a surprise. You get more credit at the combine. Pretty much everybody looks good at Pro day
It's crazy to see dudes throwing for 4K and rushing for 1K. I remember when Vince Young was the first ever to throw for 3K and rush for 1K. That was only like 15 years ago. 15 years from now you'll have man's throwing for 5K and rushing for 2K.

The kid is literally Texas royalty, in highschool I remember the dude that the biggest name in the state. Undefeated record, 3 stright state titles in the toughest division in the country 6A-1. Really wished he went to Texas, but he choose A&M and we all saw how that went. But now his pick number one, and honest to God what ever the cowboys have to do to get him we should. His arm looks strong. He has a good release point on the ball. Its quick but he doesnt pull his arm back too far ro the point where DBs and LBs would be able to get a jump on it. He throws a good ball easyfor the receiver to catch but he puts some zip on it. As lomg as he can get hia deep throws his outs and his slants arnt behind the receivers as far as leading receivers to spots and throwing them open i think a team with some decent receivers and a running back that can take the pressure off of him he'll be pretty good. I wouldn't be upset if the redskins draft him if they can find a way to get AJ Green from the reports I heard today that they wanna trade for him cause without a good receiver he'll struggle alot early

As a Texas fan, I have had many opportunities to see Murray play. He is extremely quick afoot and very accurate with passes. When compared to other young QB's he is far more polished. Does not possess a Manzel mentality. The only downside of going first, is that he will end up with a bad team. That has killed more than one career.

They really gotta put an asterisk on the High School record. It’s a 10-12 HS with 4500+ kids, and a 2000+ grade 9 across the street. Combined it’s only about 40% bigger than the next biggest school.
To put that in perspective, the best couple kids on your HS team from a suburban school of 1500 would be the only kids to start at Allen.
