    OMG... I have watched this video and I am in love with this square. I decided to make a blanket, but I have to wait until I can get more yarn to continue, I ran out... Boo...lol Thank you for the great tutorial.

    New to crochet. Love the look if this granny. I'm going to need to try it. I always wonder why once the first round is complete why you need to start with a chain 3 instead of just making a double crochet?

    I don't really like grabby squares because they hey boring...until now. I can't edit to try and make this tie dyed cookie one that my granddaughter wants. I tried several crochet designs and it did not look right but i think it will work this. Thank you so much i thought it looked hard to mage but i don't think it will be because you explain it so well. Thank you so much.

    Hey Donna. I know this tutorial says 5 yrs ago but I just found your channel. Have you ever done a complete blankey with the mosaic stitch ????? I've tried a couple but the sides want to kinda droop inward. Could you please give me some suggestions on how to work them. I'm making the triple with a longer stitch, but doesn't help. I'm not smart enough on phone to send you a picture of it so you'll understand what I mean. Thank you and I absolutely love the green colored square. I just subscribed to your channel so I can follow you. 😊❤🧶💐🌹🧶

      @@lynnjaynes3452 hi - I think I know what you mean. And I think it’s happening because it’s a heavy granny square. I did not make a blanket out of this. I only did the tutorial however I would suggest doing an extra row of single crochet around the square to give it stability or just simply add a tight border when done with blanket. You could also block the squares. Hope this helps.

    Can you make a full-sized blanket of this? Like a continuous granny square, or only be made in squares? You have done an amazing job on this :)

    Just come across your video for the first time, I am loving this square, just wondering if I could use just a varigated/ self striping yarn, as I have 32 100 grm balls that I don't know what to do with (had for years) and want to use it up. or would it be best just using 4 colours. keep up the good work x

    • @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie
      @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie  3 года назад

      It’s hard for me to say without seeing the colors and verigated yarn. Just keep in mind that the reason this pattern looks so beautiful is because of the color changes. If you are keeping it light to dark like I speak about in the video then you should be fine. ❤️

    This is beautiful. Would you mind if I ask for the size of your completed square using the 5.75mm hook? I can't find any mention of the approximate yardages for each of the colors used within a square and I'm trying to determine whether I have enough yarn from my stash or if I'll need to buy more. Thank you for posting this beauty!

      I give hook size, colors of yarn etc within the video. As far as how much yarn you will need for a king size Afghan - I’m not sure. You will have to look that up and see how much yarn you will need. ❤️
