Ribbed Granny Square Crochet Tutorial

Join me for this very slow and close up tutorial on how to make a ribbed granny square. I use both UK and US terms.
For next week's video I'm going to take this and make it into a hat using a pattern I saw in Big and Little Crochet.
For now though this is a granny square and looks amazing used sewn together as blankets of just extended and used as a cushion cover.

As a seasoned crocheter I just wanted the gist of the stitch and found this video slow and tedious BUT as instructions for a complete beginner I thought this was the BEST I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing

Hello. I am new to crochet and found this tutorial so helpful compared to some others i have watched. (And i have watched a lot!!) I like the fact that you zoom in very close so it is easy to see where to place your hook. I wish all tutorials were like this. Thank you.
