Wow, another master class in hole dodging, balance, bracing, and staying upright through chaos and turmoil, and how to have so much fun getting wet! Thank You Dane for sharing your whitewater adventures with us fans.
The trunk of the tree in the middle of the river is still under water, so you know the levels are still pretty high. Some places looked like Dane and Bren were kayaking the inside of a washing machine. Just so sick! Bren's roll was intentional, right? Right. That's our story and we're sticking to it. The boof after that was classic, and the paddle held high over his head was classic too. So many great lines and moves, and another excellent edit is in the can. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't get too much of this, and judging by the enthusiasm, they can't get enough of running it.
The Kern was my home river for my entire whitewater "career" - a friend bought a house in Kernville - I never got to the level of running Cataracts - Toilet Bowl was very intimidating, but Triple was made of "nope" for me. Funny to hear you call 3200 CFS "low" - I feel like there were an awful lot of years the lower Kern never hit that level, let alone the higher #s you were paddling this year!
I was a paddler from the 80s using a hydra 13'2" boat. We would have to punch through holes as opposed to boofing. This run looks to have many frightening holes. I am wondering if it would be possible to do the run in the old style boat or does the new boat technology and better paddlers make the difference?
Man that’s great y’all didn’t get hurt ! My buddy and his wife change the tire on yalls RV last spring when your mom and Emily were driving back thru AR 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Great to see Bren. He lives on through these videos. So good.

Massive job saving the truck/camper. The water looks so crazy. Always amazing you all do it like it's nothing.

Can you do a 'what kit I use/have when paddling' both creeking and playboating
The lower Kern.... she's something else...
Ok, I can see why you were holding off on Triple Drop until it was lower water. What a burly rapid.
